Debuffs being applied incorrectly
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
PLATFORM: PC
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
- Killer uses Hysteria or Starstruck.
Histeria
- Killer hits healthy survivor and debuff gets applied to survivor that just lost health state.
How that affects match:
originally as it worked before being broken, only other injured survivors got oblivious when healthy person got injured, now the person in active chase get oblivious instead making mind gaming much easier for killer, who saw where they gone to intercept or sneak up when they try to heal.
Starstruck
- Killer with starstruck not on cooldown picks up survivor and hooks them
- As soon as that survivor gets on hook, they get affected by starstruck exposed debuff.
How that affects the match:
originally, this perk was made to prevent body blocks and sabotage attempts. Now it also affects person who got hooked as well.
Killer can hook, go away, hear unhooking and even if you get healed by the time killer returns, you are still exposed and your full health means nothing.
Before it got broken...like 2 months ago, the healed person could have taken a hit for a person who had starstruck but still came to unhook you and spent time healing you. Now.. you can't.
Idk what logs you need and since i gave you whole process how to reproduce, login to YOUR game, start a friend match and reproduce it yourself... then take whatever video/log proofs you need from YOUR client.
Pretty easy, right? You killswitch flashbangs believing in crashes caused by them, when people can just unplug their cable during video and you wont even know it happened.
