Addressing Server Lag and Stability Issues

I want to take a moment to express some concerns and feedback regarding the server performance and stability in Dead by Daylight. While I truly enjoy the game and the unique experience it offers, there have been recurring issues with server lag, and in some instances, complete server crashes. These problems often interfere with gameplay and have made it challenging to fully enjoy the game in its current state.

During many matches, players encounter significant lag spikes that disrupt the flow of gameplay. This can lead to frustrating situations where survivors struggle to complete objectives or dodge killers, and killers find it difficult to react and engage with survivors effectively. The lag also impacts interactions such as skill checks, which are essential to the core mechanics of the game. Furthermore, some players have reported instances where the server crashes altogether, leading to disconnections and lost progress in matches. This can be especially disappointing in intense games where players are close to achieving objectives, only to have everything reset due to a server crash.

Given how popular and beloved Dead by Daylight is, I believe that upgrading or optimizing the servers would greatly improve the overall experience for players. Investing in new server infrastructure or implementing enhanced technical fixes could go a long way in preventing these issues and ensuring that Dead by Daylight remains enjoyable and accessible to everyone. Improving server stability and reducing lag would not only increase player satisfaction but also reinforce the game’s reputation for delivering a high-quality, immersive horror experience.

I hope that these server issues can be prioritized, as addressing them would make a substantial difference for the community.
