Skill Check Speed

Does anyone know how to make the skill checks more reliable? I'm not sure if it's my internet or a peer to peer problem, but it's like, from every match the skill checks are different. Sometimes you have to press WAAAY ahead of time & sometimes you have to press exactly on time, and it's a serious pain in the ass.

Thoughts? Ideas?

    back on my old pc, which was drastically worse than my current one, if I tried to have visual settings up, the framerate would cause the skillcheck to buffer and really screw me up. do you have fps drops when playing? or just framerate issues as a whole?

    Not anything that I notice, usually. The entire game is usually fine, until I hit skill checks and then the speeds are just constantly inconsistent. It could be my PC? It's not really made for gaming.
