I have a confession to make, I've become addicted to Quick Gambit

I know this perk isn't very good, I know most of its value is probably in my head, I know it is reliant entirely on my teammates knowing what Gens are for it to do anything, but something about Quick Gambit has just been tickling me ever since it got buffed

Am I better off running something else? Probably

Am I going to stop? Lord No, I'm a enabler to my own addictions, but it's fine because my addictions are ######### rad

Always bet on Quick Gambit

I really like what they've done to the perk. I just wish it had a slightly shorter cooldown, maybe 45 seconds, or maybe make the aura reading always active and only have the gen speed go on cooldown.

Either way, I'm happy that they've finally made Quick Gambit somewhat viable. I love seeing a bad perk made good.

Run the perks you enjoy most, not what people declare are meta, or "You have to have x perk to get anywhere".

As somebody who runs random perks, items, add-ons and offerings every trial, I can say that in the vast majority of games the skill and creativity of the player matters much more than the perks or add-ons. One example was having a Tombstone Myers with Insidious, lying in wait behind a wall and it working!

Of course, in the pros perks matter a lot more. If I faced a strong pro team with random builds, I'm pretty certain I'd be decimated even moreso than if I chose! Then again, for maybe one moment it might confuse them, but that's about it.

The best perks are the ones which work best for you.

The perk is as good as you can make it.

You last long in chase? Big rewards for you. You go down in 10 seconds? Try again next time.
