Myers is weaker and more limited
I think it's fair to say after playing and watching videos that the changes to myers stalking and his add-ons means that with a lot of add-ons he is actually weaker than before.
Increased stalking from afar makes sense but the reduced stalking from up-close makes him quite frustrating to play, this is especially true on maps with low line line of sight such as The Game.
I suggest the stalking multiplier on stalking up close to be increased to maybe 0.6 or even 0.8.
His add-ons also unfortunately have more issues than before.
Starting with the ultra rares, running both of them is impossible now, it takes far too long.
Scratched mirror is still an add-on that is practically unplayable on outdoor maps.
Tombstone piece is kind of the same, it's a little bit weaker i think. But it's far better than judith's tombstone. Tombstones still don't feel like an add-on that should be in the game, because the grade system is not designed for it, all players barely get any bloodpoints because players aren't interacting with each other. They're boring and outdated and the frustration with the evil incarnate achievement has only gotten worse.
Glass fragment is still terrible and even worse than before because the stalking requirement in tier 1 has been reduced.
Myers has 3 add-ons that affect movement speed whilst stalking (pretty small effect) and 5 add-ons that effect evil within duration (including infinite). These should all be condensed.
The only case in which myers is better is if you DON'T run the tombstones or infinite add-ons that effect the stalking requirement. Because the requirement is simply too much. And the changes to the stalking points means that running these add-ons have the same limits but not running them means you get over double the evil you had before, so you are heavily incentivised to not run these anymore.
I understand why tombstones and infinite tier 3 have been heavily nerfed but they should be reworked.
So i think the myers meta will either be double stalking rate or stalking + duration add-on.
Unfortunately end result is that he's moderately stronger when you play him at a basic level but with transformative add-ons that increase stalking requirement he now becomes too frustrating and weak. So he's now a basic and weak killer.
I hope this will be addressed before the live release.

I agree about the change in the stalking up close. I like that they made distance stalking more in line with Myer's theme. But the reduction in close range stalking ignores how DBD's map are not equally consistent. Some maps simply don't have the LOS for distance stalking (or are indoor).

infinity evil isn't good because evil within 3 is pointless ability at base-kit vs good teams. tombstone makes evil within 3 rewarding to use but now it has larger time sink.
Myer's reminds me a lot of pre-reworked bubba where the killer is not good but excels at camping hooks. the buffs sort of excel at camping by stalking at a distance while survivor go for hook saves. that's myer tweaks in summary.
the expectation of myer's was more that he'd have a more impactful tier 3 to reduce penalty of not running tombstone so that he is more average. that type of change didn't happen.
it is same with ghostface. ghostface vs good players does not excel very well at marked→first hits which is suppose to be his main gameplay. you'd think they'd buff ghostface's design so that he is at least good at what he excels at. instead he just got minor add-on tweaks as if he a killer that is in a good spot.

100% Agree that close range stalking should be faster.
And yes, the Iridescent add-ons were insanely overnerfed. Especially Tuft of Hair.
Regarding Scratched Mirror, unfortunately, have to accept the fact that it will never be buffed, because bad survivors think it's OP. It will remain garbage forever.

tier 3 needs more then just " hey i can instadown now " . That gimmick wore off years ago. Billy can instadown too and go across the map at mach 10 speed . Idk what they could do but tier 3 needs to be more of a treath .

I still think its a buff. 95% Myers i go against have tombstones, 5 % is scratched mirror. I believe BHVR tried to force people play him in a different way too which i appreciated. And meta around him might change, making him more fun and fresh. Plus tombstone piece used to give you 2 kills, now grants 4. Tombstones imo are not healthy add ons overall and they remove those i would not argue against base kit buffs.
My suggestion:
- Base T3 60s→90s
- Increased movement speed while stalking basekit
- No red stain or tr in T2
- Kicking gens -5 %→-8 % in TI and T2
- Breaking pallet → +10 %
