The fastest Chest opening speed
With the new buff to Chests in the Patch 8.4.0 which makes them open in only 8 seconds instead of the previous 10 seconds, to get the fastest Chest opening speed you need:
Pharmacy: +100%
Spine Chill: +6%
Resilience: +9%
A teammate with Leader: +25% (can only stack this once)
A teammate with Better than New: +16% (not sure if this Perk stacks so I'm gonna assume it does not)
1 + 0.06 + 0.25 + 0.16 + 0.09 = 1.56 (156%)
1.56 + 1 = 2.56 (256%)
8 / 2.56 = 3.125
So if my math isn't a complete tragedy, the fastest unlocking speed of a Chest you can achieve in a game is 3.125 seconds!
EDIT: Looks like I just forgot to include Resilience, but the math already counted with that, I just forgor 💀

3 seconds is too much, Pharmacy is gonna get nerfed to 20%

Nah, there is no way they're gonna nerf it again, they buffed it for a reason, 3 seconds is only in the most ideal of situations, you wouldn't get this speed constantly in every match lol, maybe not even in one haha, since you need teammates with those Perks for a very niche effect

Is there a reason to create a build around opening chests quicker? Most games there's only 3 anyway.

Fair enough, it was interesting trivia to be fair. But as a survivor noob, I was just wondering if there would be a good reason to actually run it in game lol
