SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: after playing 3 matches my progress is still 0 out of 50k
PLATFORM: steam
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: play a match, get no progress toward the challenge

Worked for me on PC / Steam.
If you can make another challenge - i would try this first - sometimes it helped previously if you maybe select a normal challenge and then reactivate it.
