2V8 Mode Killer attacks not Registering

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
I was watching my friend play 2v8 As Killer and quite a few times she would hit the survivor, the survivor would scream, there would be the blood animatic and weapon wipe, but the survivor continued on like nothing happened. It was very obnoxious seeing, and it has happened many times over the course of every game she plays. Specifically it seemed to happen with pallets a lot of the time, but even then, the hit clearly happens before the pallet is dropped.
