Worst Event In DBD History
This is just my opinion based on my in game experience
The 2 vs 8 mode is by far the worst experience I've ever had while playing dead by daylight. I 100% do not recommend playing on either side. I was excited for it to return again, I loved playing killer with a friend and the chaos of whole thing however the outrageous amount of toxic players and ego that comes with it should be against the law.
For one the q times for killer are outrageous, better than last time but still bad. Waiting 15+ minutes for a match just to be t-bagged, looped & trolled for 10 mins is not appealing. The survivor classes are a little overpowered, a longer duration before using their "power" or adding another gen or two to balance it more would be nice. Im happy flashlights aren't spawning as much as the other items.
Two, having killers come back to cages and them not move if a survivor is around was a bad idea, killers have proxy camped (sometimes multiple survivors in one area) or followed another survivor coming to uncage leaving people going to stage 2 or getting tunneled
Three, being slugged so the killers can find everyone and make sure no one gets hatch is stupid, the unbreakable we get is underpowered, it should come with endurance at least so that way when a survivor picks themselves up they have a chance at getting away from the killer that's camping them when their slugged
Four, i had a match where another survivor blocked my cage and wouldn't let anyone else unhook me until I went to stage 2 and was almost dead, so I feel like that needs fixed somehow, I guess survivors body blocking in general needs fixed because I've also had 2 other survivors try to block me inside the gates when I was injured and both killers were behind me, it's bad enough being left caged when there's 7 other survivors but being body blocked in one is worse

I actually agree, had more fun the first time both sides.

I actually disagree, I've had a blast on both sides.
Survivor: -
- Managed to make some clutch saves.
- Had loads of fun using the new abilities for pretty much all classes, that have all felt strong and useful.
- Have found that a lot of the more painful elements of playing survivor, such as being tunneled, slugged and 3-genned have all been significantly less of an issue than 1vs4 and the original 2vs8.
Killer: -
- Killer power classes have been fun to play around, and requires you to actually think about what your teammate is playing. Fearmonger Trapper is my favourite thus far.
- Expansion of killers has made the above point even more fun, and its great to see the lethality of Billy back in 2vs8. He felt very underwhelming in the original version.
- Making use of unique killer tricks feels more rewarding in this mode than normal, cause of the natural chaos of this mode. Its usually not too hard to find a weak link player.
- You don't have to deal with survivors stacking flashlights or BNP Commodius toolboxes, trying to bait you with DS, OTR or DH constantly, and everyone doesn't have WoO and Lithe and constantly holds W to Narnia without you at least being able to predict it off seeing the Chaser class.
However that's the joy of
buttsopinions… everyone has got one.7 -
My games have usually ended with me losing. But mostly, that was because of bad luck, teammates and my own skill sometimes.

Same honestly. It's been great so far!

I am happy farming BP as survivor winning 90% of the matches. Killers got it rough this time around.

I'm glad there's a dedicated fanbase for this game mode. I'm just not in it.
If it becomes the permanent mode and these queues stay THIS abysmal, I will likely not have much choice than to drop DBD until queues stabilize. I do not wanna wait 20 minutes for a game. This should probably be its own separate game, not a permanent mode. I don't think ANY of the modes should be permanent. Period.
