PS5 Pro could be a problem for BEhaviour
The news outlets are going ham on the PS5 Pro and its issues it's having in video games, and reading further on social media websites, people are pointing their fingers at the developers, saying they're to blame for the lack of support for the PS5 Pro. Pro patched games seem to work perfectly fine.

"This all comes down to the developer. So many of the Pro patched games work perfectly and look fantastic. This isn’t a console issue it’s a developer issue."
"Agreed. To be honest, the same can be said about every game and platform in general. Well-optimized games look amazing on both the PS5 base model and the Pro version.
Unfortunately, I don't think third-party developers are incentivized enough to dedicate time and resources to the niche version of the console. At most, we’ll see visuals that are better than the base PS5 but not quite at the level of a high-end PC.
Only first-party studios will fully utilize the PS5 Pro because of the company's policies."
A lot of people also have asked for a PS5 Pro patch for Dead by Daylight but there has no confirmation or response from BEhaviour yet.
Could this become a challenge for BEhaviour?

They gave ps5 a patch on November 4th. I think we'll be fine.

Does that mean Dead by Daylight is fully optimized for the PS5 Pro and did they also included the PS5 Pro enhancement options? People are asking BEhaviour to release a PS5 Pro Enhancement patch for Dead by Daylight so they can run it smoothly and steadily especially on 4K TVs.

That's all they said but who knows what is to come....

who out here really spending money on a PS5 pro though

I think they should save their time and resources for the inevitable PS6 and Switch 2. PRO systems are complete rip offs imo. Sony is already long into working on PS6. I doubt there's enough PS5 Pro DBD players to warrant updates just to then have to do it again for PS6.

PS5 Pro is a scam, just wait for the PS6 at this point.

The only thing I think BHVR is responsible for is making sure DBD runs at least as smoothly on PS5 Pro as it does on PS5. I do not think they are obligated to make a special PS5 pro version of the game. Nor do I think you as a customer are entitled to a special version.

The PS5 Pro sold more than the PS4 Pro.
Also, there are people from Japan saying that the PS5 Pro have better cost performance than a PC but I guess that has more to do with the value of Yen collapsing and doesn't apply to the whole world but the inflation does have an effect on buying PC parts. I'm wondering if the tariffs in the future will affect the cost for hardware parts.

PS6 release date got leaked and it will come out somewhere in 2028. Bare in mind, PlayStation 5 consoles could have a discount eventually. There is a discount right now in United Kingdom selling a bundle with PS5 Pro and the disc drive far less than it's originally worth. You can also trick the website with a 20% discount. I don't know how though.
He was frank in noting that Sony didn’t expect ‘large sales’ going into the manufacture of the console
In a recent statement grabbed by Nikkei Asia, Hiroki Totoki explained how things were looking for the PS5 Pro, which was released on November 7:
It is a high-end product targeted at core customers, so we haven’t been eyeing a large sales plan to begin with.
I’m under the impression that the product is performing slightly stronger than the pre-orders of the PS4 Pro during the same period, so I don’t think it is adversely affecting the product’s sales plan.
What I'm trying to say is that PS5 Pro isn't for everybody and with the inflation and the conflicts going on around the globe, things aren't what it used to be in pre-covid era. Cost are high and it's to be expected.
I agree with you. I'm more than happy with a patch that run Dead by Daylight normally on the PS5 Pro.
It's fine. To me, as long as the game runs normally, I don't have a problem with it. I'm curious if others have a different stance on it though and that they still demand for an enhancement patch.
