Pls don't lose track of changing map offerings, developers

It is really nice that Sacrificial Ward offerings are now brown offerings but you, the developers, still need to find a good solution for map offerings because the change to Sacrificial Ward is just a brandit fix and not a longterm solution.

    ?

Why, you now will have probably enough to always play them.

    This 100%.

Map offerings on both sides are too much of an advantage compared to any other offering given how they allow you to set up certain builds that you know will work well on the map you choose. Just because the counter-offering is easier to obtain now does not mean that map offerings are fair.

    for some reasons:

    1. I rather wanna use BP Offerings because I have still over 1000 cakes on my Artist alone and not Sacrificial Ward just in the off chance that one of the survivors need a strong map. Same goes when I play survivor. I don't wanna use a Sacrifical Ward to prevent the killer or one of my teammates to send me to a stupid map
    2. It is a stupid solution that the player has to balance the game by using one specific offering. Random maps keep the game fairer while choosing the map makes the game unfair because you will have a natural advantage (knowing the map and have the build that fits the best on it).
    3. While some maps need a rework to become balance (Haddonfield, Badham, or Eyrie) it is impossible to make every map fair balanced for both sides and will also take ages until they are mostly balance.
    4. Otz law: This is not a meme - survivors who use a map offering and don't play 100% perfect, will dc or give up and ruin the game for everyone.
    5. Map offerings have toxticity because sending a killer to Eyrie, Badham, or a map that is bugged (when GoJ was bugged, players send me to this map just to abuse the bug) always leaves a bad taste on the otherside. Same goes when a killer sends you to a map like Stealth instadown Huntress or Nurse with aura reading on Midwich ect. Most of the map offering users want an easy game and are okay with giving the other side an unfun match.

    Ok, i get these points.

I don´t play so serious so i don´t care about the map.

I only use offerings for challenges - the game is perfect for pallets and these hide in 10m radius ones. And Ormond for the drop while being chased.

unfortunately, many survivors are not this way. They never send you to a neutral map (never see Tobalanding or Xeno's map, always Eyrie, Badham or a bugged map that gives them an advantage
