The Houndmaster's PTB Chase Music was A LOT better
Adding an extra voice to this, all layers of The Houndmaster's theme were adjusted.
PTB layers 1, 3 and 4 were SO much better. I prefer live 2 though.
-Live layer 1 removes a REALLY cool and thematic instrument. It sounds extremely empty now.
-Live layer 3 removes a tense bass loop, which sounded awesome.
-Live chase is such a major downgrade. The PTB version had personality, this one's just overbearing.
The only good thing about live's theme is layer 2, which just sounds better overall.

Honestly a baffling decision to me, the PTB Houndmaster TR and Chase theme had clarity and elegance, and then new one just has a loud deep trumpet blast now for some reason in the 2nd layer of the Terror radius. Please no, Why do you do this? I don't understand it. Please return layer 2 to PTB.
Secondary point is the new chase theme which is just a lot louder and have loads more instruments added, but I really liked the accordion solo that was in the PTB, it was something you could hum along with while concentrating and not as obnoxious as the new one.

I wish you could state the exact reasons why her Theme has to be in this new way, does the theme need to obscure other sounds, like tell us whats going on when you make changes like this please.

I like the live one more. The accordion solo was a bit silly, not menacing at all and felt unfinished.

The accordion literally gave it more personality from the ptb
Right now it just sounds like someone's scratching something metallic while being very boring

I personally believe that the first three layers of the Houndmaster's chase theme were perfect as they were and needed no changes, and that the new changes in the live version were unnecessary and a downgrade from what once was.
The biggest example of this downgrade can be heard when you compare the PTB's Layer 1 & 2 to the Live Layer 1 & 2 of the terror radius. The removal of the atmospheric noises and strings absolutely sucked the life from her Layer 1 & 2, I believe it was an unnecessary change and it should be reverted as soon as possible. I mean you can listen for yourself, the new Layer 1 is so empty and leaves Layer 2 feeling incomplete due to the removal of the atmosphere the first version had.
Here is the Live version:…versus the PTB Version, it makes the Live version feel empty and lacking weight:
PLEASE consider reverting most of the changes made to this otherwise awesome theme. If you check the comments of the live theme, you'll see that people feel the same way!

I completely agree. The new version is a massive downgrade. The PTB version was way better and more thematic.

I don't usually complain about the first 3 layers changing because I don't listen to them as killer, but what just happened to her chase music, i personally can't even comprehend what am I listening to (the funny triangle is still there at least, I don't even know if it actually is a triangle but it's my favorite sound)

yeah i agree, I really loved the accordions in the ptb and im sad they changed it so you can barely tell what it is. feels like the theme kinda lost it's identity in a way. it's good but it's just not as fun for me tbh

i loved ptb layer 1 and 2, kinda just made it worse for no reason, the change was really unnecessary

I can see that tbh. I still prefer PTB, though I can agree Live is more intense or "scary".
