Houndmaster is a mess
You know what's crazy? This killer is the most fun I ever had despite the mess.
But what makes it a mess? Well her power is entirely up to the developers knowledge in programming (Please, don't take this as an insult). The dog is buggier than Twins and Knight combined. No joke. I had numerous maps where my dog glitched when sometimes it can't get unstuck so my power is permanently disabled.
Another weird thing happened to me. I was in a map called mother's dwelling and my dog was on the second floor of the house while I was chasing a survivor under him but then, when I use my power, the dog charged downstairs. I was so confused about where the dog went. I tried to test it again and my god the dog goes to a whole different place than me. Why was the dog there when I was chasing survivor outside the house under the wooden platform?
The hitboxes are nonexistent and the search mode is still useless. Why the dog doesn't grab the survivor that got spotted by the dog is beyond me. You need to perform so much for such little reward, you might as well play another killer that does a better job than her.
And when my dog do grab a survivor and I move around, the dog pulls the survivor away from me. What the…
Why charging houndmasters power slows me down a lot is absurd but maybe it's a balancing thing? I don't know it feels akward to use.
Anyway, I could be wrong but this is what I experienced from PTB to now. I have been playing a lot since of late and I hope they fix and buff her.
