Why doesn't Dracula's and Houndmaster's abilites operate with a radial menu?
Vecna's multiple abilities are switched between with a radial menu (AKA weapon wheel) like you would see in any shooting game. You push a button and the dial pops up where you can select on the ability you want. Then the next two killers, Dracula and Houndmaster, also have multiple abilities but you have to cycle through them one at a time with the control button. Why did they do it this way? It takes longer and makes it easy to accidentally use the wrong power as there is no visual elements to remind you which power you have active, other than the label at the bottom of your screen. It is a worse design and I cannot understand why they went that route after they Vecna's radial menu established they know how to program that. There has to be some sort of reason. Is it possible Dracula's and Houndmaster's abilities are programed differently than Vecnas? Maybe because they are more complex transformations that change the camera and such while Vecna's are just different types of attacks?
