Houndmaster COULD be good.

So I've now played more than just a couple of Houndmaster Matches and here's my feedback and suggestions:

Feedback

  • She feels so very clunky, that she's basically unplayable in indoor Maps, its hilarious.
  • Big Maps are probably her biggest weakness due to their Size and her not having a geniune Map Pressure like other Killer, I will come to that later before people typing "but the Search Command…"
  • The Bugs on her, I dont wanna start:
  • Hound getting stuck on like a lot of walls, fences & objects
  • Hound not returning as it should even tho the Ability is ready to, per say, "Chase" > if the Hound got stuck somewhere and you decide to Chase, it stays stuck and the Ability goes of cooldown, completely eliminating her one and only Ability
  • idk if thats a featue or a bug but > vaulting as Houndmaster, makes her "drop hard" on the Floor, unlike other Killers who can proceed running after vaulting or use Abilities shortly after > I sometimes cant use her ability after a Vault for ~1 - 1,5s
  • the Search Cursor bugging around, especially on Maps / Areas with 2 Floors
  • the Hound should drag the Survivors TO the Houndmaster, not away which happens on some Maps or Tilesets with corners, especially indoor maps
  • when Hound begins to search and a Survivor is closeby when Hound starts, sometimes the Hound doesnt register the Survivors being within the Radius
  • Sending the Hound to Search, not always picks the correct parts, again, especially in Indoor Maps like The Game, the Hound just has the worse pathing I've ever seen

Now for Suggestion on how to make Houndmaster at least around A Tier, where every Killer should be at its most Balanced:

  • Hound should teleport back to the Killer once its finished SEARCHING > NOT Chasing!
  • increase Hound's "returnspeed" after Searching is finished
  • maybe lowering the "chargeup" of her Ability before sending the Hound
  • remove the option of being able to send the Hound to FINISHED Gens, helps especially in Endgame
  • Buff or Rework Add Ons, most of her Add Ons are just pure trash and are not viable, I lean out of the Window and say even her Iri Add Ons are not even that good but thats personal preference

We could even go further and discuss a small rework for her Ability, when talking about the Search Part.

Search Mini Rework:

  • Increase base Range from Houndsense starting bigger, increasing faster but not increasing its max Range
  • Remove Hound's personal Lullaby (probably the worse part of Search) or instead, add an Add On that removes OR at least reduces the Lullaby
  • Instead of suffering from Deep Wound, the Survivors should suffer from Haemorrhage OR Mangled Debuff, Deep Wound just makes no sense and in fact can even be "outplayed" by MTS…

Add Ons

Most of her Add Ons are just bad, here are their Names and suggestions of what I think would be better:

  • Fatty Meat: add the Reveal after Screaming to the Houndmaster
    this add on is otherwise pure nonsense
  • Gunpowder Tin: getting the benefits after injuring a Survivor while being Grabbed by Hound instead of Houndsense
  • Shipfigure Head: I'd switch them of being: +8m Terror while Hound is away -8m Terror while Hound is nearby
  • Iridescent Wheel Handle: remove the "Touching the Search Path, removes Oblivious Status Effect", it eliminates the usage of her Ability basically > why can a Myers be infinitely Oblivious but a Houndmaster cant walk upon her Path that is being created for that purpose, especially if the Survivors see the Hound coming? ( I know you can use it as strategy and just send the Dog somewhere else, but the clunky Ability of Search makes it useless)

That is my Feedback and Suggestions, idk how the community feels about them one I know for certain:
This Chapter is by far the worse you've released so far, which is sad because the Design is just GORGEOUS.
