Offerings
Offerings really need a rework, and badly. For starters, the idea that's been floated (it was never mine originally but always been a solid idea) that map offerings should be exclusionary instead of improving chances. The mist offerings are virtually worthless, and BP bonuses instead of game changing (map offerings, survivor separation, moris) is clunky and weird. It just seems fairly random instead of any sort of expression of skill. Every offering should distinctly (but not unfairly) change how the match is played.
Map offerings: Exclude maps rather than promote, this way there is still a large element of randomness but anyone who hates certain maps can always choose to avoid at least one.
Shrouds: These are actually decent. Separating or grouping survivors can be a tactical maneuver.
Oaks: Changing hook distance is decent for both sides. I think if a killer does this it should take precedence over a survivor's though. Survs will get four offerings to the killer's one so whichever one the killer picks should be stronger.
Reagents {Mist): I actually think average mist should be increased to kinda obscure vision. Then the offering that clears mist should make maps as they roughly are now. And the offering the increases the mist should make it darn near Lights Out version of mist. This would drastically increase the effect (and value) of both of these offerings, for both killers and survivors.
Luck: At the risk of losing your first hook state for trying, chances to hop off should be drastically improved. 1-3% bonus chance is a joke.
Coins: Chests need to be drastically reworked for coins to actually matter unless you do something crazy with coins to be worth using an offering. Like... at least 4-5 extra chests.
BP bonus and Moris: BP bonus being kind of a "whatever, I don't have anything else I wanna use so may as well." are bland and uninteractive. For killers, Mori offerings should grant bonus BPs for every completed Mori and for Survivors you should get bonus BPs for every survivor that escapes (even if you don't - promotes altruism, etc)
This would remove SO much fluff from offerings. Don't get me wrong, all other items could use a bit of fluff removal but that's another post.
