2025 is going to be a very interesting year for dbd. Discussions on the dbd discord on what the March killer is going to be sounds very different even coute or however you spell his name saids that some people are going to “#########”. FNAF is coming out mostly likely in June and I was 12 when the first game came out in 6th grade so obviously im looking forward to it than most licenses since it’s from “my time” .Some discussions on previous information points to some interesting licenses that could be added in 2025 one of them also being from the same time period as fnaf. Dbd YouTube, discussions, and mostly ever where is pretty negative rn ( rightfully so ) on thrill of the hunt and houndmaster being F tier but excited that there is a light in the end of all this

2025 dbd is likely the same old, same old. Nothing bhvr has done suggests otherwise

awful new perks, multi power killers, bug ridden updates, waiting months for fixes to old and new bugs, etc

Crossed fingers for the Predator (AvP) and related battle-pass to this franchise somewhere in 2025.

Developers: my money will be yours.

Especially considering it will start with Freddy's rework.

i'm quite curious to see what's in store for this coming year. since i've been approaching the game much differently, DBD feels so much more fun to play than it has in a long while. i like all the little intricacies, but i think that's just because of how i am.

i feel like DBD is leaning back into the direction of the core of its gameplay and is becoming more well-rounded. i'm expecting the game to become more solid during year 8.

I've played on and off for ever but I'm now only playing one or two games every third or fourth day.

I mainly do challenges and the odd event.

DBD has lost its way over the years and has become a cash cow by constantly releasing new licenced chapters.

There is no learning curve for new players and so holding onto them is difficult.

Perks need a complete overhaul. Far too many and even as an experienced player I don't know what half of them do nor do I care.

Add-on's too. Get rid of at least a third of them and make it cheaper and quicker to level up your favourites and/or new characters.

It's supposed to be a horror game but it's about frightening as watching flowers swaying in a gentle breeze.

It's become stale, bug ridden and indeed boring. Same killers same survivors same perks same maps.

Hopefully 2025 will see a change for the better but I'm not hopeful.
