Killers: What do you think about Survivors who literally make noise notifications the entire match?

I'm really tired of it and wish it could fall under Griefing.

When a Survivor literally fast vaults, slams in and out of lockers, ect. because they want to Head On you, bully you, or loop you.

I don't think it's healthy for the game as the Killer needs to listen for Survivors too and it's so loud that you can't focus or hear anything else.

I know better than to chase them because I'll just lose at least 3 gens.

In this clip, I had come just to do my orange Glyph Challenge of hooking 6 people. Jane spammed inside an Ormond locker for 85% of the match.

I intended to complete my Challenge and let everyone go but then she threw a flashbang and I lost my cool… It just set me off...

How do you handle these situations? I have to wear headphones where I live because of my neighbors and it makes it even more irritating 😒

I find it unrivaledly (is that even a word..?) annoying. The same goes for afk-crows.

Well, I think they (these noises) should be annoying for the killer to take action as fast as possible.

By the "action" you probably guessed what I mean.

Definitely not a griefing issue when survivors do that to distract the killer or cause confusion. It can be used as a good tactic to move killers away from survivors who are in serious trouble, or used to anger or annoy the killer into making a mistake. It's not something I do, but there is definitely a purpose to it.

It's more annoying if a survivor has seperation anxiety at the end of the trial from the killer and really needs them to see them cross the exit gate, but that's more along the lines of being a bad winner (and in some ways, it can even be reassuring that you may have lost the trial, but you didn't lose at life like they did!).

The time it does get to me - regardless which side I'm playing - are the ones who spam vault because they want to die, or have crows due to not playing. I am perfectly fine with reporting them (and has resulted in action with respect to the spam vaults). T

I typically go find a corner to stand in, look at the wall, take my head phones off and go grab a drink or use the bathroom or something, maybe alt plus tab out to read a story or check reddit, coming back every so often to see if the last gen was finished or not so I can open a gate.

Basically I just don't play with the toxic Survivors. I hope they enjoy their free "win" with next to no Bloodpoints or any interaction.

I get this a lot and it is in part them being cocky combined with sheer stupidity.

I think it is a kind of flex for some, like 'look at me I don't care if the killer knows where I am as I am cool' but of course information is power in this game, so not revealing your location willingly can be a stupid move. Of course then there are those that indeed want to head on you etc, just ignore them outright (it is like they think you're stupid and don't know what they are trying to do).

One thing I do that may confuse others is against Pyramid Head I will fast vault periodically when far away, as they all seem to run I'm All Ears to I proc it to remove any value they may get in chase (yes I am very annoying lol).

We just call em stupid or some related word (either in our head or at the screen) and keep it moving on. Especially if their team is easy pickings, we can just dismantle them to have all the time in the world (or till endgame kills them).

I thought that I'm All Ears only worked in chase. My Pyramid Heads all bring Spies from the Shadows.

Do you have to turn down the volume on your headphones too? @Rulebreaker

Leave them be, they want attention so I won't give it to them until I have to.

If the game's still going I just don't care and play like normal, maybe chase or hook them if I happen to need to go to the area they're in.

During EGC I just ignore it and let the timer run out. Then again I don't usually play with much volume and I often listen to music while playing so maybe it's less annoying to me than someone playing Spirit at max volume.

    It's griefing and it's a temper tantrum.

Don't entertain it. Ignore it. They'll eventually leave when they realize they're only wasting their time.

It's when the gates are open and they do it in the vain hope you'll run to them to t-bag then leave.

    Watch me.

I just ignore end game noise makerst completely.

And nothing better than completely ignoring someone following you click click clicking a flashlight and then eventually turning round and hitting them with lightborn.

Funny how that stops that nonsense when they know they can't bully you with a flashlight or flashbang.

    The Jane got karma. 😄

I don’t remember the last time someone did this, so I don’t know, what I would do. Probably ignore her or if I have the time to chase, kill her as fast as possible.

I do this everytime I’m frustrated about the game or when I want the killer to come to me. Sometimes I do it to troll my teammates or when I’m annoyed by them camping and doing nothing the whole match, so the killer chases them.

I usually ignore them and save them for last. 9 out of ten times they aren't as good as they think and with you ignoring them throws them off. I even had one message me "Chase me bro". They ended up on a hook. I love it when they have a flashlight then it misses and they dc on first hook.

Nah, we're used to tuning out idiots (experience from jobs and each other, it's a win win!)

Nothing boils my blood quicker than a notif spammer. Usually they aren't as good as they think they are and the hook gets to taste their clavicle. However on the off occasion the notif spammer knows what they're doing I just do some mutual farming with them. Let them drop pallets on me and get pallet breaks get knock downs let them wiggle off etc. If you cant beat em' join em'. I tend to lurk around lower mmr because admittedly I am not that great and another big factor is I can't stay on one killer for too long since I own all of them (it's so hard to choose!). However it may be my saving grace since I don't run into sweats who partake in this certain behavior (pun intended) near as much as I probably should.
