Not a Bug · Last Updated

The offering cancels the map offering, as explained in the description. It does not however, cancel that map from being chosen at random.

I don't think this is a bug since by default you get sent to a random map, which includes Midwich. The green map offering increases that chance, making it more likely to win the map roll than any other map. Sacrifical Ward just makes it so the green offering doesn't have an effect which essentially takes you back to the truly random map roll, which includes a chance for Midwitch.

Technically there could be a bug with the Sacrificial Ward not working but you would have to prove that with multiple instances of it, because the situation that you've presented here is statistically possible to happen.

So to sum it up: not a bug, just unlikely to happen.

Ok, so I'm not the only one who noticed it.

I also had it 3 times on the same day that exactly the map that was requested as an offer came even though Sacrifical Ward was being played.

How likely is it that this will happen? Maybe it was an incredible coincidence, or maybe this new version of Sacrifical Ward doesn't work at 100% but at 97% or something.
