Oni Freezing

Whenever I play Oni on Playstation and accidentally hit an object, there will be this freezing that happens with his power where I can't move. It's extremely annoying and it doesn't happen when I play on pc.
PLATFORM: Playstation 5
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
- Play Oni on Playstation 5 (maybe other consoles)
- Activate Power
- Hit an object instead of a survivor or the ground
It's easier to tell on the second miss than the first
