Does the development team really understand why the Houndmaster is so unpopular?
As the title says. Did the development team play at least 10 matches with the Houndmaster themselves?
The QOL of the details in the update was necessary, of course, but the problem is the narrowness of the dog's hit points, the discomfort caused by the change of viewpoint, and the difficulty of hitting the survivor with these abilities, while the ease of countermeasures from the survivor's side and the low return when hit is the main reason for her low rating.I feel that this is the main reason for her low evaluation.
I still resent the fact that killers like Nurse and Bright, who can use their abilities with high frequency and whose returns far outweigh the risk of missing, are still in place, and killers like Chucky and Houndmaster, whose abilities come with great risk if they miss even once, but also little return when they do hit.

There has always been a big disconnect between the devs and playerbase. I'm convinced that no one that makes gameplay/design decisions actually plays this game at even a basic level.

Seems a bit caricatural but it would explain why so little has been done about Nurse after over 8 years, admittedly.
