Does anyone else have to reinstall the game with every update?

IDK why but recently my game won't install updates. I keep getting an "update failed" error on Steam. The only thing that solves it is uninstalling it and reinstalling it again. Otherwise it just won't run or update.

Does anyone else have this issue and knows of a fix?

i have not experienced this yet, however i can see if i can offer any assistance.

-what directory are you installing DBD to?

-after uninstalling, have you checked that directory to see if there are any left over files?

-do you notice any other weird behavior with downloading files outside of this issue?

    -what's your internet connection like?

-what's your system like? operating system, setup, etc.?

I don't think this is a common issue. Have you noticed problems with any other games? I had a similar issue a few years ago where I had to reinstall every single patch to update the game, except I would also randomly get booted mid-game when EAC suddenly detected I was missing one .pak file or another. Long story short, the DBD issues ended up being the first sign that my computer was dying. Hope that's not the case for you.
