What if the exit gates were not the actual exit?

Do gens, open exit gate and then what if beyond there, something more was there. What could this be? Ideas. What could be beyond the exit gate to make end game last a little longer?

Don't talk about anything else. Just the exit gate mechanic and what is behind it.

I was thinking maybe like a void between different realms where you have to break through a webbed wall of the entitys veins or something after opening the exit.

What if the lobby campfire was beyond the exit gate?

A cliff that leads to minecraft.

A magical teleport to the campfire.

Well, actually it's likely a huge overgrown field since everyone is running in one when the score is being tallied.

If you run through the exit, it'll put you into a labyrinth of the entitys web, where Survivors had to look for the escape and the killer gets a last chance to catch the survivors that fail to find it quickly enough.

I imagine it being something like the labyrinth of Takeshi's Castle, but of course a lot scarier and only one Killer vs the remaining Survivors.

Or another stupid idea; They'd end up in the Entitys Arena where the Survivors had to fight against the Killer to bring a last sacrifice for the entity. However dies, loses. In this fight, the previously sacrificed Survivors spirits can participate in the fight but they'd be a weaker version of the actual Survivors.

Honeycomb maze best takeshis castle game.

Storm the entitys castle. I read someones analogy they made somewhere. It was like huntress on the watchtower. Trapper and hag trapping the perimeter and Freddy and legion scanning the outside for trespassers. I feel that would be fitting here.

I'm more curious where the hatch leads.

Hole in the ground. If people escape through the hatch Legion can still see the aura thing.
    Unless they fixed it.

Any aura reading killer can see the survivors vanish to nothing as they jump through. The Wraith and Pig are two particular ones that can see this the most.

The exit gates are there to give survivors hope, they just go back to the campfire and wait until the next trial

Perhaps, depending on how fast the gens were done, one exit would be permanently locked (behind the gate, so opening the gate is required to see). Opening one gate regresses the others progress (unless already opened) as fast as the other opens, and both cannot be opening simultaneously (showing by the bar turning a solid red and slowly regressing). This means that SWF can be temporarily blocked if they were too effective, and can cause confusion among split survivors, meaning that instead of needing to kill one you need to release another, you have a chance to catch up.

Or just accept the fact that you lost. But hey, only survivors can feel entitled to a win, I forgot.  :|
