Junji Ito Collection is almost a perfect collection
First off, a big thank you to every member of BHVR who worked on the Junji Ito collection. I am very happy that we got another anime collaboration and the cosmetic team did a great job because nearly every cosmetic looks so good and high qualitiy. You did a great job on it since the cosmetics have a good quality and represent the original characters so well. The two legendary skins, Miss Fuchi and Tomie, look so beautiful and creepy and their sound effects are amazing and fit the characters perfectly. Compared to your last anime collaboration, Attack on Titan, there is a big improvement in terms of quality and representation and everyone who worked on this collaboration can be proud of their work! The trailer for this collaboration looks great as well - I really love the anime touch and how you show the characters, especially Miss Fuchi who sits infront of a closed hatch. The only disapointment is that neither Miss Fuchi nor Tomie have a unique mori to represent their character better but I guess license issues(?).
However, there are still some issues:
The Dredge and his Half Spirits' Torment: fussy already made a thread about his weapon: His weapon is made of steel but it moves so floppy and this looks so bad - a similar issue has the weapon from his War is Hell cosmetic. On top of that, this cosmetic costs 15bucks but has nothing special besides two little lobby animantions. Miss Fuchi and Tomie have unique lobby animations too but with much more details and unique sound effects and cost the same. Dredge's Masquerade Colors and Frosty the Nightmare cosmetic have special sounds too for 10bucks while his Twisted Plaything weapon has a unique attack animation and sounds different while Spirit's cozy break cosmetic comes with unique sound effects and both cost for 10bucks to give you other examples. All in all, this cosmetic is very poorly produced for its price - At first glance it looks good but at second glance it doesn't. Yun-Jin's cosmetic, Terumi's Fame, has the issue that her hair looks so poorly and bad designed, which is sad too. I hope you will fix Yun-Jin's hair, Dredge's weapons and maybe add unique sound effects to this skin so it is worth his 15 bucks.
Too much for one character and too little for others: With the new Junji Ito collection, we can got two Badges and two banners. One badge is for Trickster and this feels unfair because he has already two badges (the event one from Haunted By Daylight and from Tome 21) and one banner (from the Hunted By Daylight). Why did he get a third badges but other characters like Artist, Kate, or Twins have still zero? This might sounds like nitpicking but it is really sad that this feature is over a year old and many characters have neither badges nor a banner while others have so much of them for no good reason. Many players cannot represent their mains due to missing banners/badges for them. We have a similar issue with cosmetics: some characters get no skins over a year while other ones get so many. Of cause, some characters sell better than others but there are players out there who main these less played characters.
Some players have no access to it: It does not affect me but according to some players, they don't have any access to this collection. It feels a bit sad for them that they don't know why they have no access to the collcetion when they did nothing wrong.
