Old freddy but in addon form.

I think as a sign of respect for the people that have fought so hard to bring back original freddy and the general conception of how unique he was in his original form. Itd be nice to repurpose one of the browns from his new addon set into a OG freddy-like playstyle. These types of addons have existed before. You could combine say a brown with the iri to basically make buffed OG freddy.

"Freddy cannot hurt survivors unless they are asleep"

"Replaces dream snares with dream beam" (only way I could think of this working if anyone has a better idea without removing snares)

"Freddy is invisible to all awake survivors at all times"

"Alarm clocks only wake survivors up"

Old Freddy mighta been weak but he had a lot of uniqueness to his kit and felt accurate to how the movies make him sound. Microsleep was a minor thing in the movies. Freddy being insidious in nature with being invisible. Able to see survivors awake. And being unable to damage unless they were asleep was thematic. It was dissapointing to hear even this many years later of constant feedback freddy wasn't going back to his roots for another shot. But we can at least get close.

    It would be cool if all versions of Freddy were available in addon form like current Freddy and OG Freddy. Blue dress needs a buff to be like current Freddy. I been playing current freddy forever so not being able to would suck. Dream pallets need an addon to be the way they are rn

    Or just, you know, give him the Dream Transition ability.

    I have played Freddy since the beginning. This is a terrible thing they have done to him. IMO he's even worse, dream pallets have been rendered useless and cancelling teleport was part of my "mind games", hence going back to the old Freddy as where I had a better chance hitting a survivor waiting for them to enter the dream world after capturing their souls was fun and within is realm. Why does "DREDGE" have a better nightmare mode than the dream master?

    DEV please add Freddys uniqueness back. Stop making him so weak and complicated when he's not that complicated at all. This is an update to his powers, less a rework! Post PTB I have to see, or my iconic Slasher villian I will be giving up on, At this point if released he will be a laughing stock of the F tier. I have stuck by him and with all the changes that have occurred but I can't do this change. Please fix him before release

    eh with how they work i see it more likely to be a addon for those who wanna play with the dream beam. They already brought part of his og form back with the new iri. So if they made a brown with the effects I said it'd basically be a buffed OG freddy with pallets and tp.
