Flashlight saves are out of control, they need a nerf.

Im tired of being blinded by ppl outside of my field of view.
Blinded while facing the wall at 90 degrees.
Stunned by flashbangs in places it shouldnt happen.

Thats beyond good or bad gameplay, that shouldnt happen, deevs need to fix that asap.

Because killer main can't live without 4k, survivors should not allowed to have fun, please nerf it! Ofc they won't run lightborn because they can't play the game without gen regression ones

I'm going to say something in support of the killer's interest here. "Bring a perk" isn't the answer to an in-game problem.

Having said that, I don't find flashlights to be a big problem. Flashbang locker saves from bully squads can be obnoxious, especially if the squad is running WGLF, expo, flashbang, Head-On, etc. But flashbangs performed outside of pickups can usually be countered by just looking up. I think the answer to some of this is in the details of how blinds play out during certain situations in-game. During pickups, I don't think a killer facing straight at a wall within some angle should be blinded. Survivors can crawl away from walls. But flashlight angles also need to be forgiving enough that flashlights are still worth bringing.

Between being blinded by survivors outside my FOV who I can't see and being on console (latency, input lag, controller sensitivity that's stuck being a bit low because there's no dead zone or response curve settings to allow reasonable camera movement with the analog stick, and low fps all work together to turn any attempt at a blind into a success, no matter how instantly I work to counter the damn thing), I run Lightborn 100% of the time.

Flashbangs from locker pulls need to get the same treatment as flashlight saves but otherwise they're fair.

Honestly I'm finding myself running Lightborn more and more these days. I don't care if it's pretty objectively not amazing, it's just such a nice feeling not having to worry about saves after getting a down. Makes the game far less frustrating.

It also helps a huge bunch considering flashbang audio is currently bugged to high hell and back. You don't have to worry about silent flashbangs if you don't have to worry about them at all.

I think getting flashlight saved when they're clearly not in your field of view is a little silly, though. That could probably do with improvement.

Guys, the problem here is BAD GAME DESIGN (or bug, or balance, idk) i like to play around locker, flashbangs and flashlights, the problem is: THEY'RE BUGGED, one shouldnt be blinded from OUTSIDE of his field of view…
One shouldnt be stunned by flashbangs positioned at the sides or back of the character, that makes no sense and have NO counterplay except using lightborn.
Explain me how is that fair and expected… It is NOT.
This is the same as bug abuse.
