Does anyone know if BHVR punishes people who group with a cheater?

So I was watching a Streamer who played with a cheater, through out the entire game his friend cheated for his friend, pointed out stealthed killers, brought them items and generated distractions and glitches. Free quick escapes etc.

So does anyone know of a public message from BHVR regarding then?

    Well, first of all, even cheaters are not normally punished. First of all, it must be absolutely obvious and proven that cheating took place. A full manual process.

    After that, if the person was convicted of cheating, it must also be verified that friends knew about it and used it for their own benefit, also with video evidence, coms, etc.

    That's a lot of "ifs" and unrealistic under real-world conditions.

    In summary:
    Cheaters in DBD are welcome and save if they dont make it to obvious.
