Do you feel like when you play during an event, more people seem to be agressive or toxic than normal?

I've seen what feels like more people than normal that do the strategy where they slug the third survivor to prevent a hatch and then search for the fourth, considerably decreasing any chance at survival. Though not a SUPER tryhard-y strategy, it definitely shows an increase in the wish for a 4K, as it literally lengthens the game just to make sure they get every kill.

More points = try to win harder. Its the same reason you get gunned down everytime you try to bring a party streamer to be nice for everyone. And in this case its "well my random build isnt great or they all dont have antislug/tunnel perks so let loose." Might even be a good example of what would happen if they made casual/competitive modes, the tryhards would swarm the casual mode for easy wins.

That's how it is in casual events like the recent Bone Chill. Even though it was about just having fun by chucking snowballs and sneaking around in snowmen, so many tryhards just came in for easy wins and the extra 100% bloodpoints, never touching a single snowball.

i think they do it on purpose to try to make everyone misserable. During events is when I get the most slugged to death at 5 gens...
