Spirit power sound
Hello,
I did several game against spirit since last patch, and everytime, when being in a chase and spirit uses her power to trick me, I noticed that I can't hear the cue sound for her walking next to me. It is still working when not in a chase of when really from afar, but in the case when you're being attacked from her it is still bugged, I thought it was due to her addons, but either she has no addons, or she has only addons that increases her walk speed

I was wondering about this, because I keep jump-scaring people as Spirit & I thought she had sounds that warned people where she was.

Within the terror radius, no. Now if this is out of a chase/terror radius then there is definitely a bug somewhere. Record when you can and submit it to the bug forums.

You don't hear the noise if she uses the power while you're in her TR, it has always been this way as intended.

Technically in chase yes, it would make the range of her silent spirit phase larger. However, this also means that when not in chase people will know you're phasing even sooner so it's harder to sneak up.
Imo it's not worth the trade off and there are better perks for her. Luckily for me I've got over 70 prayer beads stacked up among other things so it hasn't even been an option to consider.

Well, if that's not a bug, that is definitely a bit too powerful, as you can't run because she'll see your scratch marks, but if you don't run she'll notice you pretty easily;
I mean there's no real tradeoff to do the phasewalk when in a chase.As a side note I never noticed that before the patch althoughI got against a fairly amount of spirits.

While in a chase or if you are in the Spirit’s terror radius you will NOT hear her phase walking. She is a mind gaming killer, if you just see her standing still and you are right nearby her, she could either be phase walking or trying to trick you so you run right by her.
I can’t tell you how many times a survivor tried to heal in my terror radius and I see them with Nurses Calling, so I turn away from them and begin phase walking and down them easily. Or either I notice them fixing a gen in my terror radius and I grab them off the gen because they can’t hear me phase walking.
It’s not a bug, it’s meant to be that way. You won’t hear her phase walking while inside her terror radius.

She's quite easily counterable. There is a trade off.
She phase walks, you walk instead of running. She can't see you and has to just guess which way you went. Not to mention you can take Iron Will so she can't hear you, or taking Spine Chill/Premonition to know ahead of time if she's phasing towards you.

If survivors could hear when she's using her power in a Chase It would make her power next to useless aside from getting across the map faster. The whole thing about spirit is her Mind games and guessing if she's phasing or where she's phasing too.
There's a good reason the sound isn't there when your in her terror radius.0
