Cannot hook players as The Houndmaster in Backwater Swamp

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I was playing as the Houndmaster during a caos shuffle match in the backwater swamp map and was unable to hook any players throughout the match. I tried carrying the players as you would normally to the hooks but no "hook" icon appeared and RT button wouldn't respond to hook as normal. I was able to hook one survivor and continued as usual but after 5 attempts of trying to hook with no success and survivors wiggling loose due to the hooks not responding my game crashed.
PLATFORM: Xbox One
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
Play as Houndmaster in caos shuffle in backwater swamp. Down survivor and attempt hook.
