"From The Rift" Bundle Has A Lot Of Issues

After months of waiting for some cosmetics to come back from the Rift, some of which just come into the shop normally, BHVR thought it would be a good idea to lock some behind the From The Rift bundle, which causes a lot of problems.

For example; let's say there is a single item or cosmetic I want. I cannot buy that cosmetic separately, I am forced to buy the full bundle with all of it's contents. They also put a luck icon on it and prevent the purchase options for showing up, it only redirects you to the bundle purchasing page.

There is not option to purchase separately. :/

Another important thing that is not talked about is the fact that these bundles are strictly for Auric Cells, meaning there will never be Iridescent Shard prices provided for these cosmetics. The 4-week rule where things cost Auric Cell for a month before getting Iridescent Shard prices does not apply to them.

Also, the price scaling for the contents of the bundle is awful. I own 3/7 items (1/3, if you want to consider the whole outfit a single item) within the bundle, and instead of having to pay 1080 Auric Cells, I can pay 1000 Auric Cells… a whole 80 Auric Cells off for owning slightly less than half the items… wow… amazing.

Finally, these bundles are time-gated, meaning you might have to wait weeks or months for these cosmetics to return. And when they do, there is no guarantee that youll have time and/or money to purchase these because life just sometimes gets in the way. All this really serves to do is use FOMO to promote sales.

Instead of it being a "Discount Bundle" where you can get cosmetics in bulk but in a discount, you instead have a system where it forces you to fork over more money than you are willing to spend over a single cosmetic because you cannot obtain it any other way.

None of this really serves to help consumers, if anything, this system is anti-consumer and only harms consumers.

I don't think they want to be consumer friendly. That's why they opt to put it in time-limited bundles instead of just releasing the outfit straight to the store.

They want to put a time pressure on you and bundle it with things you might not necessarily not want so you spend more money.

It would be best to sell the old rift cosmetics alone.

The packages are some strange combinations sometimes.
