About Freddy Rework: Smoothness and Add Ons

First off, I like it! Kind of… my main issue with it is that it feels a bit clunky to switch between abilities and teleporting.

There are two things I would like to advocate for; smoothness and add on readability.

Smoothness


Freddy rn is great but I do wish that things were smoother, for example when placing a Dream Pallet it will end the concentration and I would have to hold the power button to place a second Dream Pallet. Small things like that seem tiny but would be a huge improvement to playability.

Small list of things to make this feel better:

- There should be a buffer to holding Dream Pallet or Dream Snare
For instance if I break a pallet and hold the Dream Pallet button, I should be able to place a Dream Pallet ASAP.

- If I am holding Dream Pallet, I should keep concentration after placing or rupture.
Now you may think that it works like this already, however if you click the attack button too early it will swing rather than place or rupture a pallet. I believe it would be smoother to be able to simple hold the button to place and or rupture a pallet ASAP between one another.

- Add a sound cue for switching powers
Simple enough, if Clown, Knight, Dracula, and technically Lich have a sound to switching why doesn't Freddy?

Lastly, I understand why there is a 0.5 second window for Dream Projection for switching, however as we learned from Houndmaster that feels too long. I suggest holding the power button for 0.3 seconds should activate Dream Projection.

Edit: Clown has the exact same switch and hold mechanic yet Freddy's feels more clunky? Maybe I'm just wrong and they are actually the same but after multiple games I still stand by the fact teleport should start sooner.

Though on top of some more games I have found that I sometimes do accidentally teleport to the wrong place and want to readjust…

I would like to suggest; the longer the teleport button is held, the longer the cool down.

That way if I hold the teleport button 99% of the way there but I cancel last second, it takes 30 seconds to fill. But if I hold it for like 10% it takes about 27 seconds to fill. Something to think about.


Add Ons


Now, onto add ons. I'll keep this short and simple… PLEASE stop using percentages.
Given the fact that, in MOST killer powers, we are never given values for killer powers in their descriptions, would it not be better to simply say the amount of seconds or meters something is decreased by?

For instance, instead of just saying 0.5 meters or 0.5 seconds Jump Rope and Unicorn Block respectively, they instead say increased by 11% and 14%.

TDLR: Make Freddy's power feel smoother and add ons simply say values rather than percentages. Other than that love new Freddy. Also mechanic where longer the teleport is held the longer the cool down.
