Freddy suffers heavily against good survivors
So after the rework that Freddy recieved, quite a lot of survivors, especially casual or solo q, had a difficult time with Freddy because it wasn't immediately clear how to play against him. Waking up before healing, avoiding the dream pallets entirely and maximizing distance around loops when caught by a dream snare.
Now take good survivors who have figured this out, and Freddy feels really bad at loops and his teleport becomes half has good since good survivors can limit when he can teleport for the heal. Freddy's power is a lot of gimmick that's dependent on survivors mistakes and ignorance rather than the skill level of the person playing him.

Agree. Ive only played against his rework a few times and I found him hardly threatening (could be player skill idk) but with being able to wake up with any clock +immunity time… Ouch.

Oh really welcome to half the ######### killers. Deathslinger struggles too, Trapper as well, Legion too but because behaviour don't give a ######### about fixing killers that are underpowered we don't get anything. Better play Blight and Nurse every match or else you lose

This was the always the case with him, i don't know why people expected anything else with this "rework"

When Survivors complain about Killer they are told to get good and learn counterplay and mocked for refusing to gain skill but then when that happens you get posts like this.

Oh, who could have anticipated this?
A killer that has a power that can be denied in 4 different ways, including an ability that's just there for show, struggles against survivors with functioning brains?
What a shocker.

I don't recall mocking anyone or passing blame onto the players, killer or survivor.

With pill bottle that isn't as big an issue. Survivors will begin to fall asleep 50% faster at some point through the match as they repeatedly wake up. The thing is, however, Freddy still isn't that threatening even when the survivors are stuck in the dream world.

I agree with OG post. I have played as him many times now with the new update and against. I can confirm he is very easy to deny his power.

Perhaps he's just destined to remain in low B high C tier.

When I look at the character HUD, nine out of ten survivors are awake. The rare times I hit a survivor with a pallet explosion, all I do is put them to sleep since they are always awake and also have immunity. The ways survivors wake up need to be adjusted in the future

See Trutalent and many other killers who mock survivors. Just have perfect movements and meta perks oh and be SWF too.
