The Knight could use some buffs to his guards

Gonna keep this a sort of brief summary rather than go into a deep and detail discussion.

First is the guards in general. Hitting a hunted survivor with The Knight should not stop a chase, that is honestly rather annoying especially with how slippery some survivors can be, and next landing a hit on a survivor shouldn't stop a hunt they should be able to continue the hunt as long as there is time left or the standard is grabbed and allow a guard like the Jailer or Assassin a chance at downing a survivor. This would make better usage out of the guards and allow for a bit more "oppression" especially on some more maze like maps where survivors can loop easier.

Next is the detection radiuses. The way survivors can avoid detection by like crouching behind walls or being in a different room on like indoor maps is rather frustrating and completely ruins the setup of the guards and the purpose of having a detection radius, should be able to detect survivors through walls when they are pretty close and additionally, the green radius ring shouldn't be visible to survivors as that too makes them far to easy to avoid.

The assassin feels like he needs a speed buff considering he is the main guard for hunting and yet he seems to be outran by even wounded survivors often and that seems a bit ridiculous IDK if he got nerfed or what but speed boost

The Carnifex not much to really say on this one but one thing I think should be added to this one is he can down an uninjured survivor in a single hit considering he is sort of the "muscle guy" of the 3 and has a large blade and being sort of slow it would at least make him see more usage for chases and be more rewarding if he lands a hit.

    I don't know really. In my opinion its fine that they despawn as you would anyway most likely lose the guard as he would be losing chase time because the proximity to you as it still needs to run past you after a survivor who already got the speed boost of the hit you did to them. So the guard would most likely despawn anyway.

    Detection is fine there needs to be ways to avoid it and line of sight is the correct way to do it. Its not meant to be braindead I will just drop him here and anyone who is near can be found out in seconds as they would not be able to hide from the guard. Way too easy to use and powerful too. There always needs to be counter play not just "hey you can't do anything as they see you even if they don't". The radius ring needs to be able to be seen or once again there would not be anyway to counter play the guards as when you hear them it would be way too late with your suggestion.

    Assassin is 4.4m/s and has always been. He usually gets a hit when I use him if the survivor is not abusing the window glitch to make it move to the windows before resuming the chase. At least they fixed it party so now they can't just run past the guard without it hitting them in that situation.

    Carnifex's main point is not to chase survivors but break pallets, doors and kick gens. Even if you would give it that ability the value you would get on that would be non-existent as Carnifex is so slow and despawn so fast that it getting a hit would be really rare. Only time I would use him in a chase is when the others would be on cooldown and I need pressure on the survivors.

    many do abuse it the window glitch. the best buff is to patch out the glitch and to reduce cooldown of his guards to 10 seconds.

    Well good luck with that after my last game with Knight I am never playing against him like at all. No way am I playing against his stupid guards who walk through walls while I am forced to deal with material obstacles. Everyone else can have fun abusing bugs to deal with him or just somehow dodge him I will just end myself on the hook to avoid the pain of dealing with the bs that is his guards walking through walls :D

    I'd say just fix gaurd pathing ai and hes pr healthy. One excels at wasting time with a longish cooldown, one garuntees a hit most of the time but has a long cooldown, and one does actions for u quickly and from a distance with a short cooldown.

    Hes never been in a healthier state imo,

    What courage. What will power. Just DC against anything that gives you difficulty.

    His guards don't even go through walls. They go through pallets and windows, slowly. You shouldn't really get hit by them when the Knight isn't also there, so that would be a skill issue. And in the cases where the Knight is also there, him trying to get a guard hit on you in an attempted double tap, he probably would've ended the chase faster just chasing normally, with no power.

    Sorry to dissapoint you but yeah his guards really did just walk straight to me through walls with no windows. The moment they spawned and detected me they just walked through the wall and hit me. I really don't care if you believe me I am not blind I saw what happened. And yeah yeah I can appreciate the sarcasm :D I don't care much anyways if you don't like me for that at least I am looking after my sanity unlike some people who will still try to push through killers they hate. Also pls let us not pretend like half the game is not filled with bugs about 1/4 of the killers suffer some sort of bug. And also also don't worry I am more interested in waiting for halloween so I get some new killers and survivors on discount to get their perks and achievements and maybe after I own all free characters I can call it game completed, for now I will just focus on some actually fun and less toxic games that actually deserve labour of love award like Deep Rock Galactic, Project Zomboid, Team Fortress 2 although not very loved these years, Minecraft, Subnautica and so on. Don't worry I am mostly here just to check what is new and see what discussion there is. Hell maybe I will be here after I am fully done with dead by daylight too just to watch what insane changes happen with time.
