SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:

This is the message I have been receiving since 8.5.0. was released. I have received this so many times that I have had my ban go up to 15 minutes multiple times. I just was disconnected once again and I don't know why. I was playing against Freddy, Wesker, Legion and Houndmaster when I got this error. My ping was always 50 ms in the matches, no icons for high ping or pocket loss. Even though my teammates are still in the game, I keep getting disconnected with "Dedicated server not responding". I do play daily and I've never had this issue before this patch. This is quiet frustrating since no one is acknowledging the issue after the patch.

I've tried to verify my files, reinstall the game, I've tried to reset my router, I made sure that my game isn't being blocked by Windows firewall, I don't use any vpn or proxy. Nothing helps.

PLATFORM: PC, Steam

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Just play the game and it will disconnect you.

    Same on Xbox, while playing yesterday was merely a bit laggy, today I can't even play one Killer match without getting kicked out of the game straight back to the startup screen after a couple minutes.

    Edit: It seems to be specific to certain Killers;

    Freddy makes the game unbearably laggy and the stutter is horrible, not to mention everybody's ping jumps to over 100.

    Trapper just can't finish a match, after a few minutes the game will just go "connection lost" and give you a dc penalty.

    Most of the roster seems to be fine (although the overall ping seems higher? It's rare for me to ever break the 55 ping mark unless something is wrong and everyone seems to hover around 70 now) and Survivor seems fine as far as I experienced.

    This has happened to me twice within 45 minutes.

    Could you maybe fix your #########, BHVR? Can you code your way out of a wet paper bag? It'd be nice.

    I am having the same exact problem on steam too. I am trying to play survivor with a set and it keeps showing the same error message. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game then verifying the files. It’s getting really old and annoying

    Stopped seeing this for a few weeks after being subject to it for over a year constantly when I switched over to Epic.

    And now three times in the last five games.

    Your error messages are garbage and do not explain the issue, and at least once was with a killer streaming (SpookyLoopz) where it was clear the server itself died and just gave everybody a DC penalty. Meanwhile, there are games with killers with a consistent over 2,000 ping.
