Is there a fix for loadouts not saving on game exit?

I've been struggling with this issue for a few months now and its driving me insane. I just need to know if anyone has a solution or if its in the hands of DBD devs.

I've tried verify integrity of game files and reinstalling the whole game.

I'm sorry if this has been asked a bunch, but I couldn't find a solution online.
