Playing Blight crashes the game

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Whenever I play as Blight, after a few minutes the game crashes and I have to close the game through task manager. All other killers work fine and have no issues and the game does not crash while playing other killers. This blight crash issue is not map dependent since I have tried to play blight on several maps and all of them have resulted in the game crashing. Please fix this issue, due to this issue I can't play blight.

PLATFORM: Steam

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Crashes always occur whenever I choose blight and try to play as blight, the game always crashes after a few minutes of gameplay.

    Thank God it's not just my PC, I've been trying to do the blight challenge for the rift and I crash everytime
