HIDE YOUR NAME not hiding players in Friend List

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: The option "Hide your name" specifically states: while turned on, it will allow the player to be completely hidden in their Friend List.

Sadly, this is not the case, and all my friends can still see me in the in game Friend List while this option is active.

Becoming invisible on Steam, will have the player still showing in the in game Friend List to their friends. Turning on this option, does not prevent that. This doesn't work accordingly to the description of the option.

The image below shows the Friend List (names are blurred) in order to clarify where players result being still visible upon turning on the "Hide your name" option. This feature is critical to player's privacy, allowing them to avoid having to socially interact with others reaching out (especially when they have a large Friend List), when they wish to play alone. This option is correctly available in 99% of the games out there nowadays - please, look into fixing it asap. It would be very appreciated by many in the Community. Thanks!

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
1. Turn on "Hide your name" in the "Online" menu (as per screenshot)
2. Restarted the game
3. Friends can still see me and invite me from the in game Friend List, where I am still visible
4. Tried this by changing my Steam status to several ones (online, idle, invisible), but nothing changes: I remain always visibile in the in game Friend List, and players can invite me or join my lobby, as my name continues to show within the list.
5. Attempted to reproduce this and asked several friends to follow the same steps, but the feature does not work correctly for them either.
