Potential Rework for Power Struggle

I don't know how other people feel about this perk, but personally, I have big problems with it. It's one of those perks that basically won't do anything in the course of regular play (outside of fluke chance scenarios), but that you can build into for an excessively annoying strategy to face— like Boil Over, albeit admittedly not nearly as bad.

In the course of thinking about how to make this perk more reliable without making it broken, I had the following idea, which I'll format like a perk card:

• After being unhooked or unhooking yourself, Power Struggle activates
• While Power Struggle is active, you can drop pallets while carried by the killer
• Power Struggle deactivates upon performing a Conspicuous Action

So, in short, sort of a sidegrade to Decisive Strike. No timer and unlimited uses while it's active, but you have to actually be under a pallet every time the killer downs you, which may or may not be doable. On the flipside, it becomes impossible to abuse because of the Conspicuous Actions clause.

It does take away the Flip-Flop/Power Struggle synergy, but honestly, I don't think that synergy is especially healthy for the game. Maybe there'd be more pushback to that than can be waved away, but I think it'd be for the best.

….and now you want to add a new way to punish killers if they don't slug survivors?

Well, I went out of my way to think of a pitch that couldn't be abused to force slugging the way CURRENT Power Struggle can be, so… no?

I like this idea, but I'd really like if I could use this kind of perk without being hooked, it's niche but I find the issue lies in its requirement of flip flop + another survivor to be remotely viable.

But I guess as you propose that does make it that way. I'd actually be able to run other perks, would make a really good DS + PS build
