My concept for an Alex Mercer killer (Prototype)
Power: Blacklight Virus Omega. Alex can shapeshift his arms using the Blacklight virus into four different weapons. Changing powers has a five second cooldown.
115 Movespeed, 32m Terror Radius
- Claws. Attack speed increased. Hitting survivors absorbs more Biomass. Missed attacks have no cooldown unless you lunge. Hits inflict Mangled and Hemorrhage. Secondary power button: Groundspike. Pierce the ground with claws, sending forward a spike that erupts from the ground (distance depends on how long you hold the button down.) Dodgeable. Groundspike has a recovery time and a cooldown and can be cancelled for mindgames.
- Whipfist. Normal attack speed. Increases attack range, but disables lunge. Attack recovery takes longer. Lunge replaced with Pierce: Extend the whipfist forward in a stabbing motion. Dodgeable. If an injured survivor is in mid-action, they are grabbed. Secondary power button: Twirl the arm around, extending range via tendrils, damaging anyone around you (cannot pierce walls.) Twirl attack can break walls and pallets (can break multiple). Twirl attack has a recovery time (cannot move) and cooldown.
- Hammerfist. Break walls and pallets faster. Lower attack speed and lower lunge distance. Hitting survivors knocks them back and inflicts them with Deep Wound. If they hit a wall or fall a great height, they take damage again (can be downed this way.) Secondary power button: Slam the ground with both hands, causing survivors in an 8 meter radius to briefly stumble. Slam has a recovery time (can still move) and a cooldown. Slam can be cancelled for mindgames.
- Sword. Normal attack speed. Increases lunge range and speed by 25%. Increases normal attack range. Secondary power button: Press and hold (can be cancelled for mindgames) to dash forward at a lightning speed while also slashing along the way. Can damage multiple survivors. Cannot be bodyblocked - Alex Mercer will appear at the end of the dash no matter what, piercing through whoever's in his way except for walls and pallets. Charge time required: 3 seconds. Sword will glint when the dash attack is fully charged. Alex cannot move when the charge-up is complete, but he can still cancel the attack before it goes off.
Ultimate: Groundspike Graveyard Devastator. Can be charged by consuming biomass throughout the trial (survivors drop biomass upon getting hit.) After the ability is charged, press and hold the secondary power button. After going through an animation, Alex Mercer will slam the ground with both fists, causing spikes to erupt in a 60 meter radius for 10 seconds, targeting generators, causing them to regress by 20%, regress them, and damaging whoever is close to it with Deep Wound, Mangled, and Hemhorrage. Spikes cannot damage the same generator twice, but can still damage whoever's close to it. Spikes have a brief rumble and visual indicator before they erupt from the ground. Alex Mercer cannot move until this ability is finished.
