Ghost Face / The Pig / Buff When? ( Fire Up Rework Idea)
GHOST FACE BASE:
1: When marking a survivor, Ghost Face gains 5% haste for marked survivor for 10 seconds and the Survi are blinded for 5 seconds
(This helps Ghost Face be more useful)
2: Breaks pallets and vault windows 4%-6% faster
The Pig Base:
1- Increases the transition speed to crouched state by +80% (Pig being a killer with no map control and no chase power this would make her more useful for mid games and make her "power" more useful)
2: Mini Ambush Buff: Speed and duration
2.5: Breaks pallets and vault windows 4%-6% faster (Against the Pig it is normal for experienced survivors to drop pallets before the Pig reaches the Loop so she would be a good option for this type of Killer without chase power and without control map
3: Pig crouch speed buff: 4.4m/s
(Perks)
Fire Up V1: 6% / 12% / 18% / 24% / 30% / 36% (Perk Starts active max 6 token)
Fire Up V2 REWORK: 5% / 10% / 15% / 20% / 25% /30%
(Fire Up starts with 1 token from start 5%, Max 6 Token, 30% Max as current Fire Up)
Brutal Streght BUFF: 25%

i agree on these changes another thing id make for pig is a way for her to regain her traps (for example if 3 traps are used and gotten off of the survivors then you can grab 1 extra from a locker. or just something to help her regain control if survivors got lucky with the boxes.

The haste after Marking a Survivor is nice... but blinding for 5 seconds..? no. Vault speed and break buffs... these are negligible and unnecessary. Ghost Face could use some attention, but these just arent it and there are other killers who deserve to be looked at more
Pig, literally same thing. Could use some attention, but these aint.
Brutal and Fire Up buffs... weve been over this.

As a member of the SAWciety of Swine (Eep... I'm definitely getting stick for that...), I think I agree with the takes from Druss and JMD.
The Pigs ambush is perfectly fine. You can fake, you can moondash, it has a good amount of skill expression, you just need to learn to use it. An idea they recently got me exploring is using the ambush to profile survivors. Use it just to see how they react and adjust your playstyle accordingly. As such I don't think the ambush needs buffs at all, it's perfectly fine.
We might need more buffs for her crouch speed though, maybe a buff to give her more combat straps, because as well as knowing when to ambush, it's also important to know when to cancel. When you crouch as Pig, your profile becomes very small. If you hide your red-light well (it doesn't vanish instantly), you can fake a survivor into thinking you're ambushing and instead stand back up for an m1. This mind game is very important on Pig, so being able to crouch/stand up faster helps all her interactions... not just ambush.
That said... 80% is a little extreme... that's a buff from 1s → 0.55s to crouch/uncrouch, which is super fast... if I eere to eyeball it, something 15% (0.87s) with combat straps making this 0.79s would be enough to make her a little smoother.
A faster pallet break is interesting, I've often liked the idea of Amanda having additional tools to aid her breaking pallets faster with a unique animation... I imagined a crowbar, a bit like how Charlotte breaks pallets with her hook weapon thing. Vaulting faster is Myers thing though, so wouldn't really wanna steal that from him.

Bro I have the Pig on its way to P100 (92), I don't see the problem with the Pig having the same speed as Ghost Face in doing the "TBAG" let's grant that he will still be a Tier C or C+ Killer, love this Killer a little, the Ambush the same I don't know how your MMR is but the Survis that I get drop the pallet before it reaches a "certain loop" to force me to turn or break... (this is very serious even a low category survi can learn to do that) Myers can jump faster from the base, it's time for Ghost Face and The Pig to be able to do the same... (and break pallets too) after all they have no map control and suffer a lot against SFW (Survi with Friends) Remember that Pig and Ghost are memes just like the old Freddy

This is a huge misunderstanding of how the trap searching works. It's not random.
There are guaranteed 3 searches per hat the survivors have to do (12 searches for the default 4 hats most build will have).
So if the first survivor gets lucky and gets the hat off in one shot, the other 3 are guaranteed to be forced to search either 3 or 4 boxes each to escape the trap. It's a huge amount of pressure late game if that happens.
Using all 4 hats generally means you have at least 4 hooks, so either one survivor got tunneled out and a second is on death hook (you've won the game already) or you have 4 hooks on 4 separate survivors and are spreading pressure so no one has time to do gens (your slowdown ability is maximally effective already). Adding extra hats later in the game is not necessary.

Good to know you're a Pig main, changes the timbernof ny response a bit! To be a little more accurate, crouch speed would definitely be nice, I have a real hard time taking JMF off my loadout for the myriad of benefits it brings, it just makes Amanda so much better at ambushing, m1 gameplay/mind games, sneaking round the map in general... I would certainly not scoff at that... though to be fair to Ghost Face... his undetectable does have a cooldown, whereas ours is on demand, so I don't begrudge his crouch being a little bit faster. 😏
The problem with buffing Pig is there is a natural trade off between ambush and head traps, and her identity lies more in using that slowdown to her advantage rather than her raw ability in chase. The current ambush does it's job well, it has plenty of skill expression and unique mind games. There isn't a lot difference between Pig ambush compared to Chucky, and he has (or at least is supposed to have) a much better version of Pig's ambush. The difference is meant to be made up by Pig's RBTs... a lot of players see it as pure slowdown, which it simply is not... it's a whole macro game of itself and adds another dimension to Pig's gameplay... A dimension that a lot of players ignore/dismiss, only to end up writing Pig off entirely, I hasten to add -🐽-
If Ambush gets buffed too much, then inevitably she becomes more like Chucky, and her head traps have to be nerfed in response. This is what they tried to do in the last PTB where she got her ambush buffs, and Pig players across the Internet rallied en masse to fight tooth and nail to stop the nerfs to RBTs coming in. Thankfully (and credit to BHVR), they mostly listened.
So with that in mind, the direction I would lean for buffing Pig is to improve her crouch/stand up times, maybe roll JMF partially basekit, cause that buffs ALL aspects of Pig, without solely trying to push her ambush as her main tool/identity.

I dare say that JMF (John's Medical File) is not enough, I would like to try it with the same speed as Ghost Face and that addon could be a kind of weaker (Workshop Grease)

thanks for the info i always thought they were random because i as killer dont know how many tries each "contestant" ;) has done. in terms of traps for endgame maybe make her able to "trap" the doors or something? for example a trap that makes you perma hindered in egc (something like a shotgun shot to the leg wich would hinder you) something like saw make your choice life or die (aka gtfo or pay the price for staying

Her ambush is a mindgame against experienced survivors. It should be forcing survivors out of loops in a way that makes it hard to get to the next loop without taking a hit. If the loop has low walls, it even stops being a mindgame and becomes an issue of survivor knowledge to pick the least bad option.

It could use a very slight buff, maybe extending the duration by a small fraction of a second, like 0.1 or 0.2 seconds more. Much more than that and I think she could get hard to counter. Her primary strengths are her stealth and RBTs. Pig's stealth makes it possible to start almost every chase by injuring the survivor I'm targeting, turning Pig into something like a one-shot down killer.
Then her chase is augmented by her ambush. It lets you force survivors out of loops or give them a 50/50 if they stick around. But starting your chase with the survivor injured and being able to use enhanced mindgames or outright down a survivor at a loop they'd normally have a chance at using is usually enough to get a down and put a bear trap on in a reasonable time.
That leads into what someone else mentioned, which is the main point: her RBTs are very useful. They're quite effective for slowdown and can even be used to select when you want to have fewer survivors doing things.
And if a group of survivors really outplays Amanda, she can put a survivor into a hat with one generator left and not leave that survivor, guaranteeing at least one (cheap) kill.
It's true that she's still not Nurse or Blight, but buffing her very much could make her extremely oppressive for lower-skilled survivors. While she's not going to be a top-tier killer, I find her more fun to play (considering all those various powers) than unstoppable Nurse.

lol no. I'm a Pig main and find her to be well crafted. I agree with you that her ambush could use a small buff, and that her crouch/uncrouch speed needs a small enhancement. But much more than that and Nerf Pig would go from being a meme to a real and urgent need.
The changes proposed here would be far too much. Her crouched speed being faster than survivors? Have that along with enhanced pallet breaks and windows vaults? Then also buff her anti-loop? Then also buff her crouch time by 80%? I already get 3-4k in most games. I don't need to do it every game. I think you're right that she could use some buffs, but they should be small.
I should also say that it would be good to hear from the broader SoS (Society of Swine) on this to get more thoughts than just yours and mine :)

With what's coming DBD this year, the killers are going to suffer a lot... are you sure you wouldn't buffer the Cerda like I want after what they announced today?

I think that if the QoL improvements are done well, they should benefit everyone :)
On the killer side, the only thing I worry about is that certain slugging nerfs will make bully squads uncounterable. I need to be able to slug whole squads who do non-stop flashlight, flashbang, head-on, sabo. Otherwise, those matches could go on for ages.
I'm really excited for the idea that they'll attempt to nerf tunneling and other low-skill toxic playstyles. I never use them, and if they're no longer able to be used to win matches, I might start playing survivor more.
But you're right that I worry BHVR won't consider the knock-on effects of their updates.

These buffs are…certainly bold and Pig could use some big quality of life updates to her kit. Aside from ambush and crouching updates, I'd like her to be able to get her traps back, but that probably would also include a rework to some of her add-ons as well. Maybe in that rework they could give her an add-on that makes ambush break pallets faster or something.
Pig's Ambush is an outlier when compared other killers with dash attacks who hit into a pallet. She can't break them in the interaction like Billy, Blight, Drac Wolf, Oni, or Demo, and can't dash under/over them like Wesker, Chucky, Drac Bat, Legion in Frenzy, or hell i've even seen some Olympic level vaults from Victor's short ass jumping clean over a pallet to down a surv on the other side. She only has the ability to go around and not directly through. Mindgame is all Pig really has since her dash is almost lacking compared to her peers.

Buffs for ghostface is simple imo. Make drop a knife basekit 10% as is and fix so that hooked people cant reveal you and people in a dying state about 3 seconds with notification that you are about to get reveled.

A post from 2023... let's be realistic, Behaviour doesn't care about these killers, the community itself doesn't care about these Killers (more of a meme reason) it was a miracle what happened with Freddy but I still don't expect Ghost/Pig/Trickster/SkullMerch to have the same Buff that Freddy got... we are 1% that nobody cares about and we will have to suffer with Pig or change Main unfortunately

I think Nun_So_Vile meant that more forum members who spend time there would be receptive. I don't agree that Pig needs major buffs, but that thread is a long-running location for Pig mains and Megs in Pig masks to discuss all things Pig related 👉🐽
