Upcoming QOL changes look amazing, but I have one worry.
Everything you guys listed is a really good improvement to make the game more enjoyable for all and I want to start off by saying I really appreciate that. Now what i’m worried about is the counter to the ‘go next’ epidemic. The punishment is tough but fair but the requirements are iffy. For dying on hook what if its just two survs and the hooked person wants there friend to get hatch? Or what if the reason people run at the killer and stop or point at hooks is because of the fact that the killer is friendly or its a farming match? I have trust you’ve considered these for when this comes out but I had to write this anyway just in case.

I assume time spent in match, emblems, BP (and also not being the first to die), may be markers used to lessen or prevent a penalty being applied.

TBH even if it only works for stopping people giving up within the first 5 minutes of the match would be enough. The studies content creators have done and my own experience with DBD has been that most of the issues come from entitled babies who give up in the first minute or two of the game. Very few people DC/SoH after the match has been going past the start into the mid game.
Thus I don't think whatever system that comes in to prevent SoH, would affect SoH for hatch. It would likely need to have a lesser system in place after that initial 5 mins to ensure people aren't just waiting it out to get out, but because it's only really the instant quitters that need to be reigned in, even if there wasn't such a system, the 5 mins alone would be enough of a deterrent to DC for bots instead of SoH anyway.

I was going to post something similar. The "Go Next" stuff should be disabled when there are only 2 survivors remaining. If you're at 2 survivors, you may want to keep going if the game is close. However, if you're at 2 survivors and 4 Gens, you're NOT getting that done. At that point the person on hook missing checks to get his teammate the hatch is the right play. I'm a killer main, and it's my personal opinion that most players on both sides would say that situation is acceptable for the person on hook to give up or "go next".
The only other question is, "How do you know when someone is "intentionally" missing skill checks"? Maybe you just suck at skill checks. My brother is a Survivor main, plays all the time, GREAT LOOPER….literally explodes every Gen we get on. I can't explain it, I don't understand it, he just sucks at Skill checks, lol. If he lost an ENTIRE GRADE because the voodoo gods determined he was doing it "intentionally", he would probably never pick up the game again. Tread carefully on that one, or you will just punish new players or skill check rejects, lol.
