Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Excited for more loadout preset slots (appreciation post)

I haven't seen this being talked about much, but one of the things you mentioned in Phase 1 of your QoL initiative announced yesterday was adding more perk/loadout presets.

I know this may seem like a fairly small change compared to some of the other things you have announced on your roadmap, but nevertheless I am super excited about this. One of the things that makes DBD fun and interesting for me as a player is always experimenting with different builds and perk combos on both sides (I'm about a 60% survivor/40% killer player) and I have fun trying to get value from lesser used perks that aren't a part of the meta - I almost never use full meta builds.

As a result of this, I have dozens and dozens of unique builds on both sides that I frequently switch between and add to when I have new ideas or when new content is released - and this is to the point where I actually keep track of build ideas on a big spreadsheet which includes the character, perks, addons, and item (if applicable). While I have a ton of survivor builds, I don't have as many survivor builds as I do killer builds because each survivor is mechanically the same - other than their appearance and sounds, there is no difference between them, so any given survivor build is interchangeable between any of them. Therefore, I have all my survivor builds split up amongst all my survivors (as each character currently has 3 loadout slots) and if I want to play a certain build I will simply switch to that survivor who has it - I don't actually have to individually change my perk slots each game on survivor because the build I want is already set somewhere.

But with killer, I can't just do this because each killer is unique and offers new build possibilities with a killer's unique power, playstyle, and their addons - some builds are designed around specific killers (and sometimes their specific addons too) and can't really be translated to a lot of other killers as some killers utilize certain perks better than others. So with killer I constantly have to switch my loadouts in-game and I have to keep track of all my build ideas on a spreadsheet instead since the game doesn't allow you to keep more than 3 loadouts in-game per killer.

I just wanted to give all this background to show how much I appreciate this QoL feature being improved upon as it is a big time-saver for me and the ability to have even more presets in-game will make it better.
