Bots shouldn't be coded to fail skill checks
It's already bad enough when someone rage quits and you're forced to have a bot on your team. Doesn't make much sense to let them miss skill checks when YOU'RE ON IT WITH THEM. They'll just lose gen progress/reveal your location and then run away the moment they hear the TR🤦

Yeah, the compromise could be to not have them do Great skill checks. They can't fail, but they also don't have a chance to progress it at max efficiency.

I thought they fixed this. I remember when bots first came out they were constantly missing skill checks. I got to the point where I never went on a gen with them. I haven't seen one miss a skill check in ages. To add realism I think it's fair that occasionally they miss one but on release they were just taking the piss.

Most bots are better than 70% of the community. Its not just that its an NPC but as a killer it kind of puts you in a situation where you do not even want to go for them because there is no human reactions from them, There is noone getting mad at the other side of the world throwing tantrums and writing nasty things on my walls that i look at in the morning as i zip my coffee.

I have found this to be very true. I play solo que and yep, bots are better than most the players I am matched with. I am a low MMR survivor for sure, so I will have newbies….but some are just ridiculous.
