2v8 shows why no MMR is more fun

There is MMR obviously, but it's very apparent it's more lenient since Killer queues are so long. Let's be real here, 2v8 is probably the most Survivor Sided game mode we have ever had, gens fly by at insane speed, unhooking is pretty much always safe, anti-slugging built int, but most of all, 1000 pallets and some absolutely insane setups on maps. But it never feels overbearingly Survivor sided since the skill levels of Survivors differ so greatly. It's genuinely a wild west situation where you can get a crazy good Survivor who knows how to abuse the OP af setups you get in 2v8 or you can get someone who has 100 hours (Which is crazy to think is a small amount of time for DBD) which just makes it so much more fun.

    Yeah I have to admit, my games are funner on 2v8 in all iterations overall as the games are more varied than 1v4, which is saying something with the more limited killer pool

    On 1v4 it feels like I play against the same handful of killers all the time

    1v4 is better with MMR, 2v8 doesn't really need it.

    I have had games with gens being done but more games that survivors just run around trying to heal the entire game. People fighting over unhooks, and not doing objectives. If 8 survivors actually do objectives then the game can be won. Can only chase two at a time. I don't take 2v8 seriously, but it should be easy to escape as survivor. Especially if you have gen boost roles. If you have two gen boosters, the game is easy mode.

    I still have had less fun in general in games post 2021 MMR than games pre 2021 mmr.

    Its still fun, but even my most fun builds heavily rely on perks/offerings that I feel I MUST use, regardless if I want to, because otherwise I wont be having any fun.

    I cant really play perk-roulette and have fun as killer anymore, because survivors are always going to be at my level.
    I cant really waste time as a survivor and intimidate the killer by standing still unless we've already finished 4 gens, because otherwise im gonna be tunnelled out.

    Things that didnt really happen pre-mmr.

    The mmr is the same way in 1v4 but people constantly complain about it, so I find this assertion strange. I have killers that I play a lot, and still I'll get anywhere from very experienced survivors, a mix of good/decent and bad ones, and the occasional just installed dbd group.

    and then you get a ######### teammate on killer and the whole game is basically unwinnable right from the start. Not to mention how the matches go, if there are actually some non-braindead survivors in the game. This mode needs to be adresses asap and killers need a massive buff. I am sick of winning games, knowing i didnt because i am good, but because the survivors are so god damn awful.
