Circle of Healing - is useless
I think that outside of organized SWFs, CoH is useless. I play predominantly solo Q, and whenever I boon (CoH), my teammates avoid the boon like a plague. If they are injured, they make sure to heal far away from the boon (outside of the boon area). If I'm injured and inside the boon, even though my aura is revealed, no-one makes an effort to come heal me.
The way this perk was nerfed was bad, and I called it. The perk is not worth running in solo Q.
I will repropose my suggestions for CoH from back then, to make it a viable solo Q perk, but also strategic:
- enable self-heals
- when snuffed by the killer, the boon perks go on a 30-60 sec cooldown. this will disincentivize mindless booning anywhere, anytime, and incentivize strategic booning (where, when), so that the killer doesn't immediately find the boon; you'd also have to pay attention to not bring the killer to the boon during the chase
- the (self-) healing speed will depend on the proximity to the totem. The speed would be the highest right near the totem, but would drop the further you are. This would make healing on another floor not "just an easy heal". You would have to make choice to either take longer to self-heal on another floor, or go close to the boon for better self-healing speed, but risk the killer catching you and/or the boon, and then snuff it and trigger a cooldown
- optional - when healing has been done for X amount of seconds within the boon area, the boon dies out, and the boon perks of the booner go on a cooldown. you could also make it that if the booner wants to reboon before the first one dies out, the start of boon interaction on a new totem immediately snuffs out the old boon, and triggers a cooldown, while also cancelling the new bless interaction instantly. (similar to when you touch a totem and Dominance kicks you off the totem). rebooning while there's an active boon would kick you off the totem, snuff out the old boon, and trigger a cooldown
This imo would make the boons useful for solo Q and incentivize strategic use (instead of simple mindless booning without punishment).

Agreed does not sound overpowered and it not completely broken either. Amazing rework. If only behaviour could read this and say it is a good idea.

Here's the easiest fix, buff all boons a ton, to make them insanely powerful things that the Killer HAS to take time out to go hunt down but make Shattered Hope basekit.

I wasn't onboard, until you mentioned basekit Shattered Hope. I've always wanted to smash some totems as Killer, but nobody in their right mind would bring Shattered Hope. If there's no boon totems, which is often the case, it's a dead perk slot.

No. CoH was nerfed into the ground for good reason.

COH is still a very good perk that puts a ton of pressure on the killer, if you buff it even more you will encourage tunneling even more as hit and run will become completely useless

Eh, Circle of Healing is fine.
If anything, I would have just enabled self heals for the person who brought the boon (makes sense, they brought the boon) - repeated heals for others and self healing unchecked, no thanks.
I say that as someone who used Circle of Healing too, it was broken. We could argue if it was over-nerfed, sure - but going back to complete self heals? Nope.

I would say COH, Shadow Step & Exponential are all good. The problem with boons in general are that high mobility killers will quickly be able to find you and the totem when you're trying to heal.
Boons could be half decent if there was no universal sound for killers, but they increase the audio produced by boon chimes. They should also make them non snuffable for the first minute or two of their activation, but make totems break when they are snuffed out (basekit shattered hope)
Dark Theory and Illumination need either more effects or number increases along with boon basekit buffs as listed above
