Do gen -> Mend -> Unhook someone -> Mend -> Open chest -> Mend

Just wanted to know who thought that adding Legion to 2v8 was a great idea and how many games were played as Legion and vs Legion to figure out if it's good killer for 2v8.
Legion as single killer isn't strong, in 2v8 is just annoying to play vs.
But also it's quite unfair that they can injure so many people and inflict mending status to them.
When it's game vs Legion and some other killer, I have to mend 5-6 times per match.
But eventually this is not something game changing, as from my experience game is already won or lost, it's just prolonging games that don't need that.

Skill issue.
Just stand under a pallet and stun him when he hits you… Legion is on par of Trapper in terms of weakest killer of 2v8 imo.If you hate Legion so much, play Scout. That way you have always a pallet nearby to deny Frenzy.

There are so many options:
Stun with pallet (even after the hit if teammates are nearby)
Bodyblock for teammate
99% sprintboost (Escapist)
Just run away (from teammates and gens, so he can only chain one of you)
Mend only if you need (Healing and gens, bc now you can see well with the mending status)

You do realise that a lot of the time, the lunge in frenzy sends the killer far enough to get the hit and get past the pallet's stun threshold?

Bestie and what does it change for me if I stun Legion or not? I still have to mend
+ as @indieeden7 said:
His lunge & speed is not capped in 2v8 so Legion is faster, so even hitting him with a pallet is harder.
Yet if you manage to hit him - it still won't change anything.

Legion in 2v8 is fine imo. Not great not terrible, pretty easy to counter considering the maps are HUGE. It's also easy to interrupt the chain with a pallet stun or bodyblock.
Mending isn't exactly a great gameplay loop but that's just a Legion issue in general. They should make mending faster in return for buffs elsewhere imo. Legion go faster, Mending go faster, everyone's happy :D
-11 -
They have already done this and did not give buffs, in a normal game mending is 12 seconds, and the legion needs 5 hits to knock out, in 2v8 mending is 6 seconds and needs 9 hits
-1 -
Depends when you stand and on your reaction speed. I do it regularly in 2v8, then I don't see the issue

Well, imagine more survivors would learn how to do it, instead of complaining on forum….
It's not like you are always the first survivor to get into mending.

You really don’t understand why Legion are so annoying to go against, do you? You are right that some people complaining about Legion don’t know how to properly counter them. But even if you know how to counter Legion, that doesn’t change the fact that Legion’s power by nature extends matches into an extremely long and boring mend-fest that survivors can’t do anything about. The real problem is Legion’s boring design and counterplay

Not really, I would say Legion is worse than 1v4 version…
-5 -
So people find it boring to mend all the time? Yet they picked a role who's objective is to literally sit on a gen and press a button now and then. If your ok with sitting on a gen you should be ok with mending because the mechanics are the same... Press the occasional skill check now and then.

It's like a 6 second mend, lol. People exaggerate too much.

It's like 6 seconds to mend

With the shorter mend duration, I honestly don't have an issue with Legion in 2v8.
Then again, I don't really mind Legion in the main game either, which probably affects my opinion here.

How does it not change anything? You mend a few seconds and carry on, and if you stun him, he loses his power.
-4 -
Oh, for real? That's weird then, don't really understand what people are getting worked up about at all.
-2 -
Well, that goes without saying. If the killer isn't game breaking in regular 1v4, why would it be broken in any other mode? It feels the same as everyone at bottom level complaining about Wraith, when you never see him at top level, all over again.
-3 -
To be fair, Legion is stronger in 2v8 than the main game, but the conversation is more about how annoying Legion is. That's what I don't find to be all that much worse, personally.
8 -
Because what's annoying is subjective, and so you can't use that kind of feedback to balance a game. And yet, here we are.

Why do these types of responses try so hard to aggressively ignore the point of these complaints? Nobody is saying the Legion is hard to play against. They're saying it isn't fun and turns games into a slog. Also, you aren't stunning a console Legion on 80ms ping.
I've played against Legions who just patrolled a tight area and never actually chased. It sucked. It took forever. Not once did I ever think it was hard or that I needed tips. I simply wanted to not be playing against Legion.
6 -
It's not really a "slog" if you can deny his power. By doing that you will also get a chase against M1 killer with no power…
Nobody is saying the Legion is hard to play against.
Well, OP wrote it is "unfair" for them to use their power basically…

I personally dislike Legion being in 2v8, I dont consider them strong, but I do consider them annoying.
It also does not help that most people (including myself) are playing Survivor 2v8 for the +400% Bloodpoints, and the Mending Action (Bloodpoint Score) does not reward much Bloodpoints compared to the action speed.

I'd be surprised if 6 seconds of mending gave alot of BPs.

Pre-running every time you see the deep wound status and hear a faint TR is the definition of a slog. That's before you even get to the mending aspect.
1 -
Running when the killer is near enough to give TR is a slog?
