Can we please ban the guy playing nurse with cheats already?
he's been doing this for weeks now, he's downing people during the loading screen, l died on hook and still got a matchmaking ban. There's been multiple threads on this forum showing this guy and he's still not banned.

Pretty sure it's not just one person doing it

just happened to me. They seriously need to do something, it’s giving people matchmaking bans because we get killed before the match even starts. I pray to god they address this before their next update all the way at the start of April because this can get people up to hours of matchmaking bans from this piling up.

it's not even people, it's AI bots just programmed to queue into the match with cheats on and usually advertise cheats in postgame chat. They are getting banned sometimes when players actually report them, but there are way too many burner accounts for those for anticheat to rely purely on player reports.

It isn't the same guy, unless he was also playing in Australia too lol

Yep and a fact that will be of no surprise to most people here, they are almost exclusively Epic accounts as the free on Epic promotion still comes back to haunt years later. I have an Epic DBD account too but I never play on it and certainly don't cheat!
But bots signed up for tens of thousands or more free accounts and they are still being sold with cheats to this day from what I can tell.

How hard could it be to create a sanity check for trials?
2 minutes from start to everyone is dead? killer account gets disabled until a human can review what happen.

That's just the long awaited nurse buff.
Everything works as intended.

I had Myers and Bubba do like that. I was lucky enough to not be targeted first so while camera was spinning I could hear someone getting hooked multiple times in a row and then sacrificed.
With how ''advanced'' these paid cheats are and number of ''free accounts'' those people have, it's a battle that probably can't be won. You can only do your part and report post game. Consider yourself simply unlucky here, not much could had been done about it.

This is exactly what I said. An incredibly stupid idea to give a game away for free and now years later your game is still plagued with cheaters and AI cheat bots. I’d like to know how much money that idea netted them because I hope it was worth it for what their players are now dealing with.
Now the cheaters are also impersonating streamers and content creators to get innocent people banned.

I keep having the same hacking Nurse and it's getting real tiring

can’t BHVR and/or Epic simply deactivate all the unused accounts from that promotion? It seems like an incredibly easy solution to this problem. If BHVR and/or Epic aren’t willing to do this, then the blame for this hacker situation rests on them because of their refusal to take appropriate steps to prevent it from happening.

I am low MMR so I never run into stuff like this. That really sucks because obviously cheats will only affect the higher MMR players. Hope they fix it!

Please keep our no Name and Shame rule in mind on forum posts. The Game Rules layout how to report this type of conduct appropriately:

there is no cheat protection in this game. you have to accept that or change the game.

Im from australia, the cheater is using some random ttv as his name

Yeah I think I know the one, they were going around playing Billy a while back too

For what it's worth, that's fairly standard protocol on gaming forums. I have 20 years of game forum moderator experience, and nearly every one of them had that rule set up. It's not to protect cheaters, but to mitigate risk of people being publicly and falsely accused of cheating when they actually weren't. It's a blanket rule across the board - not a protection to certain individuals.

Absolutely. Something it helps to peak under the hood on some of the seemingly unusual choices made from companies.

Just like in real life lol

We protect all users on the forum this way, as the forums is not the appropriate place to report the user names and their behavior.

Trust me, we understand your frustration, too. <3 I appreciate you, @Spare_Them_Mori_Me!
