Bloodhound Rework idea
Bloodhound: Major Update
[NEW] Pools of blood can be seen through walls at a max distance of 24 meters.
[NEW] Pools of blood are now animated footsteps left from injured survivors.
[NEW] Stepping on an injured survivors bloody footstep reveals their aura for 4/5/6 seconds.
[NEW] Bloodhound has a cooldown of 30 seconds after the aura read duration.
[REMOVED] Pools of blood no longer are brighter and no longer increase the pools of blood duration.
Note: When predator got reworked to being an aura read perk to help track survivors I thought Bloodhound should get a similar rework to help track down injured survivors.

I think the Bright Red Blood pools could be added to the hemorrhage status effects. Maybe Blood hound could be like the Scent Orbs from Dracula's Wolf Form.
Grants the ability to see and collect Scent Orbs left by Survivors:
The Auras of Scent Orbs are revealed to you within 12 meters.
Collecting them grants a +4.35% Haste Status Effect for 2.5 seconds, temporarily increasing the Movement speed to 4.8 m/s if you are a 4.6m/s Killer.

Honestly me and the bucket believe we should just leave it as is, lowk getting tired of the aura perks and I liked the whole idea of tracking perks through things like scratch marks and blood.

I get that, it’s hard to come up with perk rework and buffs since the only good status effects are aura,hinder, sometimes expose, endurance and haste. Any other status effect is not worth bringing into your build and we have enough haste and endurance perks, hinder always feels awful on both sides so aura imo is the balance between both roles.

In my opinion, the current Bloodhound perk could become basekit since I know some people actully use it since they struggle to see the pools of blood well on some maps and it wouldn't hurt that much.
I like your suggestion, the aura reading might be a bit strong on some killers but this is rather an issue of the killers and not of the perk.

This would be a nice buff to hemorrhage. Hemorrhage and Mangeled became so limited and kinda bad since their nerf (Gift Of Pain is the only relevant now while Sloppy is decent but got hard nerfed with the 70sec hook time and only worth it on HitnRun). I still hope the developers will reverse them, especially when survivors have so many quick healing options.

Sounds too strong imho but maybe i am wrong.
In any case i do agree that Bloodhound needs some sort of rework because a lot of killers have it's effect basekit or as an add-on.0 -
Hmm, I mean it's still an information perk, so might be fine, but it would need to be tested.
Maybe slightly increase cooldown, or be cheeky and give it requirement of basic attack for activation after cooldown (definetly not to deny this for Nurse).
