New Bug in 2v8 looks like survivor is cheating by going out of bounds
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I could walk around outside of the map after getting unhooked in 2v8.
I wanted to report the bug so that no one gets banned for something that isn't their fault. I thought I was recording, but apparently my recording software reset to default and wasn't on.
PLATFORM: PC
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
I got unhooked (second stage) in endgame, next to an exit gate. Both me and the person who unhooked me could leave through the exit gate, but it would not allow me to leave the game. The person who unhooked me somehow managed to, but I had to DC to leave the game (Ironically I was worried not doing so and waiting until the end of endgame would make it look like I was cheating and holding the game hostage). About the bug: my FPS dropped a lot. I couldn't interact with anything, but I could NOT phase through walls (on my screen). I tried to show the killers I was playing with what was happening, but they accused me of cheating in endgame chat and said they reported me. Even though I DC'd…because the game wouldn't end. One of them also said they could see me phasing through walls. I don't know if they were making stuff up on their end, but I figured I'd mention it anyway, because I have no idea what they saw but given my FPS drop I suppose it's feasible.
